  1. Football Manager helps....
  2. Ill take 2 off you if you do end up having any spare. Please let me know if you do have any!
  3. Don't think so, I used it a few times last season and that feature was intermittent to say the least!
  4. This is working for me, although it wont soon when you lot get on it.... http://www.eplsite.com/stream2.html
  5. FFS, never thought it would start at 14 aways! Last season was the first in ages that I haven't been to any away games; I have a season ticket, but obviously that won't be enough. I've done what many have done and just purchased 2 tickets in blk 122, I opted to have them sent to me but I'm assuming that either my order is cancelled or I have to pick them up at the ground. Going weds night to fri night, so worst case scenario is that my order is cancelled and I have a couple of days in Amsterdam and a night in Arnhem. Will still get the train to Arnhem for the game and either get in with my blk 122 ticket or see what else is going on...again, worst case scenario is that I don't get in and watch it in the fanzone. See what happens I guess!
  6. All booked up, weds eve to fri eve. Hope to god that I get a ticket; I'm a ST holder, but with no away's last year. I'm going regardless as a couple of days in Amsterdam is never dull......and everything I've booked is non refundable!!!
  7. White Widow. That is all... The map in the OP is not that useful at the moment, travel is so easy to arrange and so many people are familiar with Amsterdam and Holland that I wont really help many people out. Let me know if you want anything posted on it. Maybe it will become useful later on.
  8. Ideally, it would go on sale first to those who went to Bucharest. As I couldn't get to any away games last season.
  9. On tues last week I realised that my passport expired in April Sorted it out online and the new one arrived this morning!! So, check your passports everyone as its taking as little as a week to sort out. I've been making tentative plans with mates this last week without actually telling them that I didn't have a valid passport!
  10. True. East to get to for us fans, but a nightmare considering some of the other teams involved. Steaua Bucharest Mk 2. As for the map... - I've changed the colours of the potential opponents listed above to yellow to make it a bit easier to view. - Once we know who we have, I'll also mark that separately on the map in another colour. I'll also add anything else that seems appropriate (Hotels, Pubs, Transport etc) as more info is added to this thread.
  11. I was thinking something along those lines, nice easy CHEAP trip to start off with. Could do without having to fly to an expensive city as our first trip (of hopefully many) Although these earlier rounds present a chance to go to a place I've never been to, or will again, Charleroi or Vitesse would be my idea options.
  12. Borussia Dortmund?
  13. Er, I meant I've deleted those eliminated in rnd 1!
  14. I've just updated the map show those teams eliminated in the 1st round. Will keep it updated and will add stuff when we know who we have.
  15. Obviously, this could be a bit short lived, especially now that I have started this thread....anyway. I'm a bit of a nerd at times, and have a particular interest in maps / geography etc; so, over the last week or so, I have mapped all of the grounds of the teams taking part in this season's Europa League (I know, its sad!) If you click on the link below, you should be able to see the locations in Google Maps. Some of the locations may be incorrect, if a team has built a new ground recently, or they play in a different stadium for Euro games for example. I am prepared to be MLG'd on this and will try and correct any mistakes. As I was doing it, I did think that (once we know who we are playing) it may be useful in planning travel, or even finding where hotels / pubs are in relation to the ground etc. Like I say, it may of use to some.... Some "interesting" observations: - Sturm Graz have a Hooters attached to the stadium! - FC Batumi's ground is about 100 meters from the black sea, bring your Speedo's. - FC Kairat is only about 270 kms from China, and is further away than most of Iran and Afghanistan! https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z-oVzRKP0zxY.kq10sHl2JPmk&usp=sharing I'll try and keep it updated as the tournament progresses and may include extra data like hotels, pubs etc once we have more details. I guess this thread could be where we share any travel info we may find, like hotel deals, flights, trains, boats etc.
  16. Don't you mean the multiverse theory.
  17. Last game of the season is on my 40th.
  18. Grealish needs to concentrate on his football.
  19. They get picked up by the navy one of the other EU countries that has assets out in the Med? Also, we have an obligation to the European and Global shipping industry... "On 31 March 2015, the representatives of the main European and global shipping industry associations and seafarers’ unions described the current situation as “untenable” and called on states to increase resources and support for search and rescue operations. In a joint statement they said “…it is unacceptable that the international community is increasingly relying on merchant ships and seafarers to undertake more and more large-scale rescues.” On 8 February 2015 following a distress call, Italian coast guards braved high seas and freezing temperatures to rescue 105 people from an overcrowded dinghy. Their boat was part of a group of four that had set off from Libya the day before and got into trouble. A total of more than 330 refugees and migrants died on that day. Apart from two commercial vessels in the area, only the Italian coast guard was available to provide assistance." https://www.amnesty.org/en/articles/news/2015/04/amnesty-international-s-blueprint-for-action-to-end-refugee-and-migrant-deaths-in-the-med/
  20. Yeah, agree that this cant continue. The best way to deal with it (and also the hardest) is to improve the conditions in their own country, so that they never want to leave in the first place. F&ck knows how that is accomplished though, a lot of time and money needed. Just imagine if all the money The West has spent on "war" since WW2 had been diverted to the developing countries, we may not find ourselves in this situation.....but on the other hand, imagine the effect on global warming / the environment etc if the whole of the developing world had 2/3 cars per family, 4+ TV's, used petrol the same rate we do, drink cans of coke etc etc etc.....it would not be sustainable. I have a feeling I'm going to have to renew my £5 membership soon.
  21. To be fair, better that than thousands of them dying at sea, to get away from a situation we (The West) largely created. Tin hat ready.
  22. MLG has ben MLG'd
  23. You can have my Volvo 480 (1993) for £9999
  24. The whole Saints Forum in one thread, how come no one has thought of this before....
