Am I the only one that thinks JWP has been playing the last month like a man who knows he is being sold ? If he has been not well then apologies to him. however, he looks to me like he has been playing to avoid injury. He definitely hasn’t been playing like a captain should in a relegation fight.

I have to ask that shouldn’t we be expecting more from JWP ? Lavia is doing both their attacking play. plus he is winning the ball and breaking up there play. JWP needs to add something.

Anyone have an opinion on what his worth would be ? Hoping there isn’t a prearranged fee agreed at the start of the loan as he is worth considerably more now than he was then. I'm thinking he has to be worth £15m to £20m. He is young, English (?), fast and can score goals.

We are playing completely differently. No more kick and rush. We have patient build up and passing is to feet and on the ground. We have more width than before and the team have spirit and work hard for each other. if people can’t see the turnaround in a short period of time it surprises me.

Totally agree. I thought he looked our best player last night. Particularly from an attacking perspective. If his crossing improved he would be a star. But then there was rarely anybody in the box to pick out. for me, we were too defensive last night with two holding midfield players being one to many. Actually thought Diallo was good last night but himself and JWP were too deep. We don’t have runners from midfield and high we need as the forwards don’t score.

Have to say what a difference the midfield is minus Moi and Diallo. Also no Djneppo or Lyanco. He has found the best 11. Armstrong still looked crap as well. That’s Adam

I went to the game today and we may have played against ten for an hour but the pressure the United players and the crowd put on the ref was shocking. that was a good point. We look so solid at the back and the keeper did great. Perraud was good. Lavia was the best midfielder on the park. Credit to Bednarek too. Had a really good game

For me he is a young goalkeeper with so much potential. His distribution is the best I can remember any saints keeper having. However, he does make too many mistakes. I think he has brain farts as we all do when we are so young. there is a fine line between backing a young player and exposing someone who doesn’t have that much experience in the top league. if we go back to the quiet man Mc Carthy then we can wave goodbye to building from the back. Also Willy looks like a man who is about at 60% of his ability due to his age.

I was at Everton for his debut and thought he looked really sharp. Scored a great goal too. Since then his ability and confidence has completely gone. Just think he is out of his depth. I won’t call him personal names or call him out. He is just playing a standard too high
