Although Coventry did not complain about either goal,I thought there was a touch of handball with both goals. As for the second goal Adams had no idea where the ball was and did his best to miss an open goal with his head before fortunately hooking the ball in from a yard with his right foot. The man is a total liability in front of goal.

We need decent form going into the play offs,2 points out of 9 going into the game is shocking,be very surprised if we get more than 4 - 5 points from these 3 games. 1 -3 to Coventry,we will not handle Wright or Simms [ who up to a few weeks ago was a total donkey ].

Martins awful team selections and failure to ditch the tippy tappy dross in games when we are struggling have cost us automatic promotion. We will lose to WBA in semis and finish in mid table next year if we persevere with him,as the idiots running the club are seemingly happy to keep him in charge. A bit of the grit shown by an average Ipsich side last night would not go amiss, they stayed in the game and we folded like a pack of cards when it came to the crunch.

Ipswich picked up 6 points from Blackburn and Saints being very lucky to win either game,we picked up 1 point from Boro and Ipswich playing well for an hour in each game. Ipswich are hard to beat we are not,we are far too easy to play against and the man in charge is loath to change things,the managers team selections have cost us automatic promotion,with Mckenna as manager with our squad we would be top,no doubt about that.

No game for 20 days and 8 games in April and I know the club are probably not to blame for the new date,however still unbelievable.

6 points from the next 2 home games is an obvious must. Probably as a pair of games they are more difficult than Hull and Millwall,however as we have been total rubbish in our last 3 home games including Huddersfield, would any Saints fan bet on 6 points. For the record I think they are both pretty average and we owe Sunderland for the hammering up there and great to see Clarke is out.

Spineless dross,what a load of bottlers.Millwall had been the whipping boys and we gift them 3 points,we will be lucky to hang on to 4th if we do not pull our fingers out. Silly me thinking we would win this game.

I was totally devastated after that result. However that was the beginning of the end for Lowes hideous regime and Derby got 10 points the whole of the following season and would we have got many more with the awful squad we had at the time.

We can settle for 4th if we do not win this. They are really poor,but have a new manager bounce, 3 - 1 to Saints.

He is very poor defensively,which is the main attribute a full back needs. Martins intransigence to keep playing him and one or two others has probably cost us a top 2 finish. Losing 2 of our last 3 games to one average and one good side has undone a lot of the unbeaten run. We had to lose some time,but not to those clubs.

On the manager again,the team that started was never going to win the game. Play offs certain now,why is it so difficult to put out you best team, Downes apart. Really pissed off.

Exactly my point 3 posts ago Dave,he was torn to shreds against Huddersfield, I hope that crazy decision does not cost us tonight.

This game along with Coventry,Middlesborough, Sunderland,Preston and Watford are all potential banana skins,winning all 5 will not be easy at all.Hull are a good side who are beatable like the others if we approach the game properly and take our chances. 2 - 1 to Saints. An after thought they won at Leicester and on saturday scored early and very late at Huddersfield,so we need to be at it 90 plus minutes.

What a wonderful caring couple Pedro and his wife are,it is good to see that some ex players are really nice human beings.

If JW wants to return to his Northern roots,we are totally stuffed on this. I have lived in Cornwall for 27 months and would move back to Hampshire tomorrow if my wife would agree,unfortunately she does not.Maybe JW and family have the same feeling about wanting to move back up North.
