Stonemans signing a strange one as far as I can see. I guess the fact that he is available for the whole red ball season is a big factor. Does that also mean that we are looking for another bowler as our second overseas signing.

The above post is spot on,if you look at what Iraola has done at Bournemouth. I doubt whether any manager since RH would have got so much out of an untried in the premier league bunch of signings at Bournemouth. Jones,Martin and Selles did not improve one player in their time at Saints.

To win a derby player ability goes out of the window. In 2011/12 we went up ,Portsmouth went down,they managed to get 2 draws,probably none or very few of their players get into our side,however that will count for nothing in the caaldron of hate,that is Fratton Park.

Catch 22, bring him back in the summer he scores over 20 goals in the championship next season and then is not good enough for the premier league the following season. Perhaps we will try and sell him in the summer.

I just hope Juric is following his progress at QPR and that of Charles also. I love the comments that Edwards has found his level,because the championship is where most of our players belong.

I watched the QPR game on Sky tonight and Ronnie Edwards had another good game at the back. A friend of mine a big QPR fan,told me that he is very popular with their fans. I hope that the management here give him a chance to shine for us the championship next year and do not decide to sell him off for a pittance.

Could have done with his father in law playing for us now, he was a very decent,combative midfielder in his prime in the early seventies.

A 3 or 4 goal pasting, I am sure we will get the backlash for their no show against Bompey last week. As much as I dislike Bompey,they have been magnificent this season.

Agree with the above post,we are coming bottom and nothing changes that. Secondly why would any player want to come to this total mess of a club? Some players could up their wages considerably,but is it worth that to put your career back a couple of years. Is this Ankersons last throw of the dice ? Still much prefer Robins or Rosenoir in the championship, oh to be proved wrong.

If Ankerson is involved then we are totally screwed,if we had got Shaun Dyche on board instead of Jones,we would probably not be in this mess now. Personally I hope that we go for Mark Robins, a manager who knows the championship inside out. Unfortunately no one currently at the club has the ability to make a decent call, I might opine.

Robins knows the championship, Rohl is also a good shout.
