Whether we get a 10-point penalty will be irrelevant unless someone comes up with some cash to save the club from going out of business full stop. As I see it, the club's survival in any league has got to be our priority now, we'll worry about the points later.

Don't jump the gun. I don't believe the article says Perry has agreed to stay, only that he has earned another year. He's not obliged to take it. Fingers crossed he does though.
I don't read what Lowe says in that article as being anything to do with a sell-on clause. He's referring to the add-ons we were supposed to get based on Bale's future appearances for Spurs. IF a sell-on clause was negotiated at the time of Bale's transfer it could still be valid. That newspaper piece doesn't make that clear one way or another IMO.
