  2. As the Swiss national anthem is the same tune as God Save the Queen how about: God save Markus Liebherr He's saved us fair and square God thank Liebherr Make Saints victorious Happy and Glorious Back to sh&t on the Skates God save Liebherr
  3. To be fair, most Saints fans have to be fairly mad/crazy/insane (take your pick) to support this club after everything that's happened. Onwards and upwards though...
  4. Last season there were some dodgy-looking polo shirts with Saints badge plus Irish/Welsh/Scottish or English flags. Seemed there were a lot about in the end-of-season sale so perhaps not very popular! Reckon the Swiss thing would be more so right now!
  5. No, it's fine for you to stay where you are. You can get a pair for you and your 14-year-old, which I think will work out cheaper, and your older son gets his own. I've just renewed my two STs in the same seats I've always had and got my nine and six-year-old tickets with us for the first time. They've been memebers for last three years and came to most games last year. This year, the whole cost for all of us is just £480, which is fantastic value IMO. I will be emailing Mr Luker to let him know how pleased I am!
  6. Bookies have Strachan as favourite with Hoddle an outside bet, perhaps he's worth a punt...
  7. Can't read some of the prices as obscured on the screen. Also, is it just me or is it actually cheaper to go as an adult/child pair than to buy an adult ticket on its own? Not just for the family enclosure either. If I'm reading that right it seems a bit strange...
  8. No IMO. Let Wotte carry on and see how he goes. He deserves a chance. If things not looking good come October/November then think again.
  9. Many thanks Markus from a family of Saints fans. Red and white forever.
  10. Might have known it would be too good to be true, pants. I guess we'll get the poor relation, still at least it's not Micky Fiasco....
  11. That would certainly fit in with the household name we were told. If we'd have known, we could have just pitched up with a bid on Dragon's Den. Peter Jones might have gone halves with him!
  12. Don't think anyone would care that much about names right now. To be associated with Red Bull would be fab in my book, better than old Red Face anyway!
  13. This started going t*ts up as soon as they failed to meet the first deadline. Wonder if we'll ever discover who the other "buyers" were and which one was the so-called household name. Personally, I doubt it. We've been had over.....again!
  14. Will be interesting to see if The Echo now removes the story from its website or stands by what it claims and leaves it be...could well be an indication of how seriously they take Tony Lynam and the "buyers".
  15. I guess that means he is a household name of sorts then, he's on the electoral roll at any rate! The longer this farce goes on the more credible Marc Jackson is starting to look...can't believe I just said that.
  16. Sadly, I had a text this morning saying "M Jackson is dead" and immediately thought it WAS our very own Marc. That's how caught up in Saints takeover talk we've become.
  17. According to the Echo, it's current Thailand manager and ex-Saint Peter Reid...
  18. Think that salary is highly unlikely. He's only on every other Saturday! More likely to be £100,000 imo. Someone's added on another zero by mistake!
  19. Typical, they just have to make our lives a bloody misery...b*strds...
  20. Just had another listen, sums up what today (fingers crossed) should be about...a new beginning and the return of some pride in our football club. Would love to hear this song loud and proud on the speakers at SMS.
  21. Can we have a Keegan yes or no poll please? Ta
  22. His ex-wife (Amanda Holden) went to Swanmore school so there IS a local connection...!
  23. I hope the "new" manager has got some of his own cash to spend, doesn't look like he's going to get any off the Pinnacle group...
  24. Oh my God, it could really be down to the fans and the council after all, best dig out the cheque book.
  25. The opening bit reminded me of Local Hero, like it.
