I read a BBC article earlier where he seemed very non-committal and gave the impression that it was a long way from a done deal. I'm still hoping this is the case. Don't want a Stoke failure anywhere near us (and yes I know Strachan took Coventry down but he had Premiership experience and actually a playing career of note). Are our band of internationals going to be looking at Jones and thinking 'he's the guy to help me advance my career'? I couldn't be more underwhelmed and it feels like a throwback to the cheapskate RL days. Wholly depressing when you consider the proven calibre of manager that Villa and Wolves have managed to attract. All for giving young homegrown talent a chance at the right time, a la Nige, but our Premiership survival is at stake. This is not the time to be taking a risky punt and hoping for the best.

Did a stadium tour there few years ago, great set up. Had Tadic's car pointed out in the players car park.

He was our best player yesterday. Aggressive, huge workrate and not afraid to have a shot unlike far too many others. Having watches MotD last night, they should've had a penalty for one of his challenges and he got away with an assault in the corner but at least he got stuck into them and gave them a rough afternoon

Perraud was MotM for me. Was aggressive and worked his socks off, very lucky to escape a card for manhandling a WH player but showed a lot of fire and tried to make things happen

Noticeable that at the end, Ralph thanked the ref and disappeared straight down the tunnel. His body language was shot.
