  1. FFS. Can't even score penalties any more
  2. You not been a Saints fan long? Been this way as long as I can remember bar the Poch/Koeman years
  3. Yep, this. Not fucking difficult is it??
  4. Very heavy reading
  5. Did look good. I still have a massive soft spot for the plain white shirt with red shorts as per the League Cup Final. Think it was only used then and against Bournemouth but thought it was one of our best ever kits. Have got the Rank Xerox retro shirt as my staple but the remake didn't do it for me.

  7. Exactly this. We've got a knack of getting results against Chelsea, but when I saw the teamsheet, I thought it was same shit, different day. WTF do we know anyway?!?
  8. Streams just died. Anyone got one? Cheers
  9. It's the hope that fucking kills you....
  10. Cos he was a Premiership manager, knows the club, could bring a bit of much needed feelgood and positivity back, and is available and possibly not adverse to a short term deal. I'd still prefer Peter Bosz as the main man but his name doesn't seem to be getting mentioned at all any more.
  11. Caballero in goal but otherwise, it's a yes from me
  12. Adkins?
  13. He's been here for longer than that, hasn't he??
  14. Only for SAGA life insurance
  15. If Adams converted a quarter of rhe chances he's fucked up this season, we'd comfortably be around 10th by now
  16. It makes complete sense and ensures neither party are stuck in a situation they don't want to be in.
  17. Do remember him ending up at Bournemouth, was it on loan? Didn't know about the tweets though, thanks for clarifying 👍🏽
  18. Why not? If we go down, they'll hardly have proved themselves as Premier league quality, and two in particular are only one season into their contracts.
  19. Caleta-Car is the obvious candidate, surely?? World Cup runner up, 26 and over 250 senior appearances, and seems to have plenty about him
  20. Agree. He was a borderline headcase but did a very good job for us and was sorry to see him go. A real character who was also good at his job. Don't recall him having a fall out with Koeman though??
  21. I'm clinging to the hope that it's not a done deal (yet) and it's all an elaborate smokescreen for a vaguely successful replacement to be announced.....
  22. Like this though somewhat inexperienced in the front 3. Agree its a free hit but don't want the new players confidence to get destroyed this early, plenty of time for that later! I'd keep Lyanco (for when we need someone to do some kicking and winding up of opponents), Diallo (to replace a tiring CM with 10 to go) and Aribo (there is something in there, hoping the new manager can find it) but the rest can disappear on a free transfer somewhere, anywhere in fact.
  23. Peter Bosz. The job is essentially a free hit. Short term deal, keep us up, job done and both parties can re-evaluate in the summer. Go down and it was too little too late etc. We're still in the top flight in the highest profile league in world football. That in itself is a pull and a sizeable salary for what could be 4 months work isn't going to be sniffed at either.
