That's where I am with it, I just don't think I understand (cue Tonda's chant 😬) a, why we thought it was a good idea b, what we achieved by it c, why it's causing such a shit storm And trying to feel better and convince myself that renewing my season ticket is better than cutting my nose off to spite my face

I bet he'd have changed in a telephone box if he could have found one sooner 🙄

By publicly announcing that we'll be part of a working group to deal with this being more widespread...isn't that the same as warning everyone who is cheating to delete any evidence they have and stop doing it? So when they start investigating other clubs...oh, this isn't as widespread as we thought, its just us that did it But why form a working party if its not rife anyway?

IF Boro go up, every single team can send an analyst to spy from that exact same spot...and there's nothing in the rule book to stop it If that isn't irony what is?! Anyone know when the full EFL report will be out? Just wondering how much of the evidence and full detail we will get to hear about

I held off as long as possible on accommodation but booked it Sunday as everywhere was selling out fast! Ferry, train and accommodation for 3 of us £750 for the weekend... Worst bit...we're in an apartment on Wembley Way so can't escape the "wish we were here" feeling 😞 Just gotta get up and out Saturday morning and stay away till it's all died down...so as much as I'll be pissed if they don't refund the £2.50, I'm more pissed that we spent what we did in good faith!

Who'd have thought that yesterday we were cheering this thread on to get to 100 pages and here we are about to hit 200 at the point tonight's announcement is made!

I've cried off all work meetings today...more pressing matters was my claim...its worked so far!

I googled if the FA or EFL have the right to obtain such documents and found the following...(FA.com website). Was hoping they could only do so in a criminal case... Yes, the Football Association (FA) and the English Football League (EFL) have the authority to compel clubs, players, and officials to produce texts, emails, and other personal messages (e.g., WhatsApp) during investigations. This power is derived from the binding rules and regulations that participants agree to upon registering or signing contracts within English football.

Its a sign of things to come in the next 24 hours... 😂

During all this not one person has said Will Salt might have been a decoy! Whilst they were all watching him "spying" did nobody notice our players were out on the golf course watching too? 😂
-
VAR has never gone our way so I hope the similarity ends there

Whether they can count correctly though...

Either that or we sit on their laps and cheer for Hull...

Didn't the EFL release the play off final on their official page Fri morning? I'm sure I saw that posted somewhere, and the tickets then continued to go on sale... What's the betting they were asked to hold off until Middlesbrough's accusations were handed in, then laughed and said, release the Play Off final details, its a load of bolony!

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere on here, but the reports mentioned that the "spy" was told to delete the recordings Who by? Whoever he was sending them to or by the Middlesbrough guys that caught him? If it was the latter, why the hell would they do that, then take it to the level they have? If it was the former then they already know who is guilty at SFC don't they?
