God damn fucking Elyonoussi. Ball drops to him with clear space running at the back line, just passively waits to be tackled. no clue what he should be doing. Great opportunity waisted

I have been so fatalistic for so much of the season which sort of numbed me. Expecting to lose every week etc. Almost shrugging when we did. Now, with a glimmer of hope - just a glimmer - I am so effing nervous.
-
I am so hoping for a Tall Paul goal. I really like what he brings to the team (whilst hoping he further adapts to the league) would love him to get off the mark.

They have sex with fish. They play in a lower league. Those two things

Maybe a sign of the times but whomever it is, will be great if they can just unite the fanbase and get some positivity flowing through the club; anything else is a huge bonus at this point. I share others concerns re appointing a recently sacked relegation rivals manager, however, once appointed (as he seemingly will be) I, for one, will be 100% behind Jesse and that's a great feeling after months of Jones and watching Ralph go off the rails.
-
Just read that 11 premier league managers have managed to take at least one point at St. Mary’s, this season. this does not include Nathan Jones despite his having been Southampton manager.
-
Ralph had us 90th out of 92 in terms of form for league teams in England. Against all objective reason, the board appointed Nathan Jones, the Luton manager who previously had his shot with Stoke and returned with his tail between his legs. He wasnt very good. Maitland-Niles played CB in a back five against 10-man Wolves and JannyB tripped over his own feet scoring an own goal. The Welsh guy got fired. We're basically relegated. Probs gonna get that American geezer who just got fired by Leeds. Kamaldeen is a baller. I think all that happened in the previous 30 hours... give or take. Enjoy your holiday.

As Southampton fans, you're my brothers - but any of you who think that we have a chance of Poch coming here are actually mental.
-
Ah yes, the ol' JannyB own goal. No excuses not to win this game - wolves have been poor and had 10 men. (Jones is shit [3])
-
I've got one: Wolves 78% Possession (Jones is shit [2])
-
Been saving up my three posts all day so I could call Jones out for being shit three times. Jones is shit (1)
-
I did - most agreed they'd make a better manager than Jones

The kids feel like something is missing from the home and ask their mother for a dog. The mother considers her options from a range of available breeds but decides to purchase a little scraggly runt of a mutt. Instantly unlikable, the children attempt to play with the dog anyway; cheering it on for even the most basic tricks. things don’t go well however and the dog keeps shitting all over the floor then trying to blame the kids. Everyone wants rid of the dog. Let’s be honest, it’s a c*nt. but the mother sticks by it, sure that one day the kids will grow to love it. The dog, however, unaware that it is so hated, continues to shit on the floor, blame the kids and act with #aggression because it believes it makes it likeable

Im tempted to spend a fiver just so I can keep calling this clown a c*nt online

No related to #BestManagerInEurope but people on twitter are referring to Jesse Marsch as 'Yank Lampard' and I think this just needed a wider audience.

Ralph had us 90th out of 92 English league teams on form... how many times does this need repeating? Ralph was certainly likeable but his strange decisions, tactics and formation, never really knowing his best side and crazy substitutions lost us far more than he won us. Ralph no longer being fit for purpose and Nathan Jones being out of his depth are not antithetical. Ralph needed to go, Nathan was a risky appointment which has not worked out. That the simple truth and if we do not pull the trigger and go for one last change now, we go down and the legacy of this terrible decision may linger on for years. Best case now is we bring in someone who scrapes survival, get the fans back on board and the damage will have been short term. See: Sunken Cost Fallacy

FFS our players are just so shit! such a lack of quality - poor passes, can't finish, cant control. Its basic, bread and butter stuff at this level.
