Classic. I seem to also remember him saying that you could hammer a piece of wood into the group and, statistically, the ball would rebound off it and into the goal more often than Claus' corner to goal ratio.

I say the following in the context of having never consciously watched Piroe nor being aware of him until his name appeared on here. But, I am a little concerned that he is being heralded as some kind of super striker that is going to get 20 goals and solve the all pervasive striker issues of the past few seasons. Surely we need more than just him even if he is any good??

Jesus. If we can keep the poker face long enough to see that through, we'd have done very well.

Craziest thing you did or wore at a football match?

Not to pile it on, but I also seem to remember 'you should be washing up' to the female assistant referee... wasn't Saints fans' best outing -

West Brom Away 2008; weird violent snowball fight, following the game, with home fans -
As others mentioned, this is the stage of the relegation cycle we are in and it will be up to Martin to accelerate this process if he is true to his word on the above. All of these player need to go. Abysmal players that have had ample opportunity and should be no where near the squad. There are further questions around scouting and development for the likes of Djenepo, Diallo (i'm aware he is gone) Lyanco, Maitland_niles (also aware), Moi (still aware), Bree (although we know this is all Mad Nath)... We need rid, by hook or by (alex) crook.

Sure we'll pull it back in the second-leg.

May I highlight how utterly doss this group of players are. Also, and this may be controversial seeing as he has been played out of position, But Charles has, as yet, only concerned me. I said he looked poor after Bournemouth and this sounds as if it was a similar showing.. as I said, however, context needed here.

Agree with that said above. The fact that we, in the championship, can lose a player like Tino and have it not adversely affect too much is a great position to be in. Romeo was always going to go so better to get it done (without being fleeced) and now, those potential pockets of money for the like of Tella, Prowsie etc are not as vital. We have control. Maybe they go, maybe they dont, but at least we will have more agency over the decisions. That said, would like to see this reinvested now, and quickly, so Martin can begin to build.

Max Aarons, anyone know anything about him. I confess to not! The concern being that this means KWP is leaving (and, head over heart, rightly so - too good for the Championship)

All I know is that I feel excited to see us at home next week and it has been a very very long time since I said that with any sincerity. I hear all the cautionary messages but, as a saints fan, I think you have to enjoy any good things that come our way (my God do we not suffer enough when times are bad) So I, for one, am greatly looking forward to some possession football, no pressure in relation to a drubbing every week and (hopefully not) circling the relegation drain for a year or two. Lots of development and progress to be made but I'm very much here for it!

wouldnt be surprised to see him named captain on Prowsie's exit

Tino has ‘a pull’ which I take to mean a pull towards Newcastle

Oh... is that what the email meant when it said 'reply with a picture of smallbone' ???

I'm planning on the group who will crash the economy and start up new pork markets in East Asia; the circle of Truss

I mean, I guess at this point, it would be mods and/or admin. Although give it 3/4 years and we can expect the circle of trust to start executing each other as there is no blueprint following the decentralisation of power on Saintsweb. Further resonance with the French revolution is the fact that the inner circle are they only ones who want the revolution. The rest of us just want a striker.
-
The emergence of a third estate on Saintsweb is suggestive of a violent and imminent revolution. The Bourgeoisie will be the first to be executed. Those of noble birth, hide. p.s. we need a striker
-
Smallbone owned the midfield when he came in. Think he looked a real asset.

Yes, they take usually take out copyrighted logos such as sports brands or club crests from photos but theyre all on the product.

Nope, looks perfect to me. Held it next to previous 'authentic' kits and the badge, including alignment, is the same. That said, guessing this is subjective and the risk one runs.
-
yep - perfect
