Look, realistically we were always going to lose this game. Far better teams than us will lose to this City side, especially away. But it is the nature of the loss which is so infuriating. As mentioned, for Foden's goal, there are four attackers running at two defenders, the right back who, if KWP himself is not able to cover due to a quick turn over should be being covered by the man in front of him, is not even on the screen. this is tactical ineptitude. I would be yelling down a Sunday league team who did not cover full back positions in this way. Do it against a team like this and... well, we've seen the result. Further, Ralph plays two forwards in front of JWP and Diallo - so now we have .Armstrong backing into AKE trying to out-muscle him and beat him in the air. You have Che doing the same against Dias and, of course, getting no luck. Ralph continues to get away with these ill-informed team selections and tactical decisions because every now and again the broken clock tells the right time and then his job is safe for another three months. Again, I am certainly not claiming we should be beating this Man City team. But if we are going to go down, surely it needs to be more challenging for them than this. Finally, and this is a hill that I will die on, Che Adams and A.Armstrong will never be good enough for this league. The odd goal every five games will never convince me otherwise.

Sure it’s already been mentioned. We have lost 8 of our last 12 HOME games (and drawn 2). The club stuck by Ralph (as did many of the fans) after a horrific 9-0 home defeat followed by another 9-0 the season after. He has had (literally) years and now significant funds to make the squad and team his own and play the way he wants to play. In this time we have gone backwards and are now sleepwalking into the championship. He needs to go. Tonight. And then we have to hope someone can come in and salvage our position in the league (not easy with the lack of quality in the team). We are in real danger of being cut adrift into a relegation mini-league already.

It's what most of us have been asking for, myself included. Hopefully they set up right and can offer something better than the last few weeks.

Lol. I remember posting twice last season about what a poor game Che was having and, in both, he scored. In fairness, I still think Moi has been non-existent and Perraud looks vulnerable against an inform sterling.

I'm sorry - but it's back to terrible team selection. Moi doing nothing, Diallo off the pace, Adams not able to trouble that high back line with lack of pace. Stewie, Aribo and (I cant believe I am saying this) Djenepo should start.

Moi must have something over Ralph.

Sick of random selections, formations which clearly are not working but are stuck to, defensive set ups against teams we should be beating. Players out of position. Ralph out for me.

is it just me? I find this all so infuriating. Ralph a professional manager so who am I to say? but we need to drop this three CB thing. The system does not work and leaves us overexposed through the middle. Lavia is a class class act but is spending his time chasing two/three players. Adams is a horrible player, this is a hill I will die on. I'm bored of 'strikers who work hard' he simply does not have a consistent quality to be a premier league striker. Everything breaks down through him. For me, we'd be better putting Aribo in there, at least he'd hold up the ball and bring Stewie, JWP and Moi into the game. It seems baffling to me how simply this all is.

What a goal. He is so good on the ball. Could be a top, top signing.
