  1. He has done 3 Saints games this season :- Manure (L 2-3), qpr (W 3-1) and the cup game Chelsea (L 1-5) where he gave that pen against us where the ball hit Davis in the middle of his chest. Last season he did the home defeat against Reading 1-3, where we played them off the park and still lost 3 goals to their 4 attempts on goal. My concern with him for this game is when he has done Hoof ball Sam games over the last couple of years they have won all 4 with very FEW BOOKINGS. Last season :- Boro (a) W 2-0 only 1 yellow for them; Cardiff (H) W3-0 only 1 yellow for them. This season :- Villa (H) W 1-0 no bookings; Newcastle (a) W 1-0 booked 2. IMO he allows a lot of their "pushing"; "jumping into" and "physical game" go unpunished
  2. If Sale is to be believed we called a meeting of the "Gang of Six" opposed to wage restraint. Reading may have changed sides / come off the fence but it sounds as if Swansea have been off were "bought off" by not including TV money from Europe in the restrictions. IMO these rules are about "keeping the status quo" as far as teams are concerned which will be against "The Don" plans. How can excluding "TV Money from European competition" can be considered fair ?? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2303619/Manchester-City-lead-Premier-League-wage-rebels--Charles-Sale.html
  3. He won it once in April 2011 http://www.leaguemanagers.com/managers/history-1596.html The biggest surprise for me is that a certain person won it in March 2005 the year we went (? took us ?) down .
  4. But those games were along time ago. I believe his last Saints game was in the 2008/9 season when we drew 2-2 with Burnley which was a few days after the Dark Lord left with his train picture. A lot has happened with the Club since then. Having said that I thought he was poor in the first leg of the play-off game against Derby (1-2) in 2006/7 when he seemed to let howard get away with foul after foul without giving us any freekicks. Reading have had him twice this season 3-3 Fulham (95th min equaliser from reading) and 0-0 Swansea (disallowed a "handball goal" from adam LeF correctly imo)
  5. As things are quiet at the moment I taken some time to copy my Vinyl LP of "Jasper Carrott's FA Cup 76" into a video. I've added some pictures and videos close to the words with the exception of the line about the "TV on the blink", which because we were outnumbered 3 to 1 on the day and were told that we would not be heard on TV, I have shown Saints fans in full voice here to illustrate that we were loud on the day and could be heard on TV. There are a couple of sections cut out of order e.g. the 2nd offside is actually in the last min after we were 1-0 up. I have also borrowed a picture that somebody on here did for another line.
  6. I stopped reading when I came to this statement He clearly does not remember Tony Husband telling them how much the FA Cup cost to buy http://s298.photobucket.com/user/Saint_John_Photos/media/Cheats%20FC/01FinancialRuin.mp4.html Perhaps he thinks £137M is sustainable debt or perhaps somebody told him they had a Banksy to sell ?
  7. Nothing has changed in 37 years I've been scanning a lot of my records from 76 recently when I came across The Pink from 3 April 76, the day we beat Crystal Palace in the S/F. Tucked away in the back pages were the following 2 articles that show nothing has changed with the Cheats in 37 years. For info 1976 was not one of their Admin years they were 1911, 1998, 2010 and 2012, however they were still talking about "money crisis" and "economic survival" even in 1976. 1st article - Stolen Car Further down the article (ignore the 76 amounts think more percentage) The 2nd article - "Poopey go for the money" IMO It seems that only HMRC and the Local Charities came forward, and should that be "y" instead of "u". And the final couple of paragraphs Question : Is being "deluded" (that the Skates suffer from) a) a faulty gene ? or b) a mental illness ?

I think always has problems when there is a change in systems. When he first arrived under AP he was good playing a "fixed 4-4-2" system. He knew his role on the right wing and played it well. When Nige first arrived he was very much into changing system during games i.e. changing to a "diamond" etc and I felt he didn't understand what his role was in that system. There was that shocking performance at leeds last year where Nige asked him to do a certain job on the left hand and he didn't have a clue and was taken off at h/t. This season Nige changed to a 4-2-3-1 system this year I think he was "at home again" playing the wide on the right role of the 3 attacking midfield players because they generally kept fixed positions. Poch has now come in and the system has changed again in that the 3 are always interchanging i.e. on Sat sometimes Adam was on the right, sometimes Gaston was out there, sometimes J-Rod. The players are always changing positions and "pressing the opposition" and I think Punch has difficultly with that. He will get there eventually imo he just needs more time on the training ground to understand the role expected.
  9. Adam needs to practice shooting a lot more along the ground too many of his attempts at goal are at a comfortable high for the keeper to save. The good finishers shoot low and that has the effect that the GK knows he has to go down early, with Adam they know he is unlikely to "drill it low" and will more than likely "try to place the ball past them"
  10. Here is the article from the Daily Hate. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2294521/Nick-Harris-West-Ham-mortgage-60m-TV-money-bid-manage-debts.html It says they are the same BVI company that Saints & Everton have used and they have only used £10m of the max £16m they are currently allowed to use. I see no problem with it, there is probably a tax benefit if the truth was told. The greater concern to me is the 2nd piece about UEFA stopped ALL GAMES (any divisions) on nights when the CL games are being held.
  11. When Clubs (arsenal ,Chelsea etc.) have been charged in the past I don't think it makes any difference whether they appeal or not it usually ends in a 20k-50k fine. What I would do is ask for a Hearing and prepare a DVD showing all the bad decisions this season, from J-Rod being upended in the first 5 mins of the season; Adam being booked against Swansea when he was tripped in the box; they should include Clattenburg home game against Fulham where he disallows a 2nd goal when we were 1-0 up for NO reason; etc. etc. etc......... They should also point out that Nige said just before he left than we were at least 8-10 penalties short of what we should have been given. Then point out to the FA we are top of their Fair Play table because we have not questioned the CR*P decisions being given to us this season AND THAT HAS GOT US NOWHERE. They should tell them that the players and FANS have RUN OUT OF PATIENCE with the Refs continuing to give bad decisions against Saints. As I said it will make no difference and the FA will fine us £20-£50k, but if it might improve the standard of decision making from the Refs in the final few games.
  12. He did the away game at Fulham (1-1) awarded us that pen 5 mins from time for the hand ball. If it had been clattenburg or one of the other clowns we have had this season they would probably waved play on imo but Dowd was brave enough to award us the handball (TV proved it was a correct decision). He has done Liverpool 3 times this season :- wba 3-0 defeat (s/o agger) ; spurs 2-1 defeat and a 3-0 home win against sunderland.
  13. That's the 4th time we have had Clattenburg this season and he has been rubbish in all the games.(a) 2-2 at home to Fulham where we were 1-0 up and he disallowed a second from the corner for a non-existent push on the keeper. (b) Norwich 1-1 at home when he gave them a non-existent free kick on the edge of our area after 45 mins. © 3-3 stoke where he gave them hundreds of freekicks in the last 20 mins after he s/o one of their players. I also agree it is best to IGNORE those 4 posters.
  14. I wonder whether the Judge will try to be clever and say something like £3M + Add Ons. Where the Add Ons could be (say) :- (a) 15% - 20% of any Gate Receipts for the next 5 years. or (b) 50% of any future Transfer Fees for the next 5 years, i.e. if they spend 500k on a player then they must pay Chainrai an extra £250k (this would cover any "rich backer hiding in the shadows" trying to get the ground on the cheap because (as we all know) the trust's bid as it stands doesn't stack up). or © 50% of any profit if the land is resold to somebody else (Tesco) in the next 5 years.
  15. When the Skate News stopped their Saturday Sports paper last year after 109 years Hold the Front Page wrote the following http://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2012/news/saturday-sports-title-axed-mid-season-after-109-years/ In the article there is a nice quote from neil So he was at the Sports Argus and the Skate News when both closed their Saturday Sports paper. Perhaps his quote should be changed to "..There are three things certain in life - death of his football club, unpaid taxes by the Cheats, and the end of Saturday Sports papers that he works for...."
  16. It is listed in Court 10 (I think) before Justice Sales ( 3rd case ? 1st starts at 10:30) http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists/list-chancery-judges
  17. Is this the property in question? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/property/article-2044631/Francis-Bengali-selling-1-99m-home--theres-hint-bling-sighte.html#axzz2KUSFBQy6 The article (dated Oct 2011) said he was planning to "build a new and more modest property nearby" but I've been told he is moving to Portswood.
  18. The new Fair Play table is outhttp://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play.html We are 3rd behind Arsenal & Liverpool and now 3 points ahead of Fulham. Arsenal 844 Liverpool 830 Saints 825 Spurs 824 Fulham 822 ... We are top of the R/Y cards with 217 points (6 ahead of Fulham & 16 ahead of Liverpool) but it the "Behaviour of the Team Officials" section (7 behind Fulham & 5 behind Pool) that lets us down. I wonder if it the section about "... such as whether they calm down or provoke angry players or fans and how they accept the decisions of the referee. Co-operation with the media will also be taken into account." And HOW do Liverpool score so highly on P/P (positive play) it must be one of their supporters doing the marking.
  19. My issue with MOTD is not the "clowns in the studio" who like most of the media know very little about what is going on at Southampton, but with the person who cuts the video highlights. For example, on Sat it would have been nice to see some of the 5 min period after we were 3-1 up where Saints were totally in charge, almost "taking the p*ss" out of city. For me that would have BEST shown how completely Saints "WON THE GAME" with their pressing game and how city were defending as individals and not as "a team". But instead they showed moments like a city player shooting at the TV screens as if to make out it was city playing badly rather than Saints playing well.
  20. But that isn't the Fair Play Table. The one that is used is on the PL Site http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play.html It is updated once a month usually around the middle of the month. The marks are made up of more that just r/y cards, it includes things like Positive Play; Respect to the Oppo; Respect to the Ref etc. The marking is here :- http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play-calculation.html
  21. Exactly the article by Sami Mokbel on the 31 Dec saying that "arsenal were going to open talks" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2255426/Arsenal-talk-Southampton-Luke-Shaw-transfer.html is followed today by the same reporter saying that Nigel is going to be sacked.
  22. The same reporter (Sami Mokbel) gave us this story in the past http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1354685/Southampton-players-told-boycott-125th-centenary-dinner-Keegan-McMenemy--Co.html and the quotes in that article came from a certain group !!
  23. When the Skates were taken to the "Court of Arbitration for Sport" (highest Court in Sport - Is there any Court that has not had dealings with Cheats FC ?? ) in 2007 and cheated two Italian sides out of development fees for a player, who was the player ? This document only mentions his DoB as 5 May 1984. http://jurisprudence.tas-cas.org/sites/CaseLaw/Shared%20Documents/1207.pdf For info : imo 2 Italian sides (Parma & Fiorenzuola) try to do a fiddle to get around Italian "loan rules" with a "side agreement" but in steps the master cheaters to rob them both. There are some interesting quotes on how they treat the FA and FIFA.
  24. The table they use is :-http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play.html which has us 2nd equal with Fulham. The rules they use are here :- http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play-calculation.html It is only the Behaviour of the Team Officials that stops us from being top. Here is a quote from the marking So it is the fans who are keeping Saints out of Europe ?
  25. Yes I saw that as well. I assume that means that No tickets will be sent out in the post and I just turn up on the day with my ST card and the system has been updated to let me in ????. If that is correct I didn't see it in any of the comms from the o/s.
