Capital One Cup: Bristol City Ticket Details Announced
Saint_John replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Does anyone know whether the period for ST to purchase a ticket MEANS to purchase their OWN seat ? The o/s says "Tickets for this match will initially go on sale to 2013/14 Season Ticket Holders at 9am on Thursday 5th September, before General Sale commences at 9am on Wednesday 11th September." ....In previous seasons they have not opened all the stands and I have been given a ticket elsewhere in the ground therefore I had to arrange to purchase tickets with others at the same time. However last season for the FA Cup game I was able to purchase my ticket for my OWN seat online WITHOUT any ticket being sent in the post or anything and the new computer system just allowed my ST Card to gain entry. Does anyone know whether (a) All stands are open ? (b) ST can purchase their own seats online ? -
Tommy Forecast- Officially 5th most expensive goalkeeper in history

But I thought the Echo said there were NO sell on clauses. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/10581204.Saints_in_line_for___2m_windfall_if_Gareth_Bale_signs_for_Real_Madrid/ -
The Ref is due to be Lee Mason; It is his first game of the season in any league; Two games last year spurs (h) lost 1-2 ; manure away lost 1-2; he did sunderland 4 times :- hoof ball away 1-1; everton away lost 2-1; reading away lost 2-1; stoke home 1-1
-
It depends on who we are playing. For example on the 15th Sept we play Hoof Ball and I would play the 2 best headers at CB, however 6 days later we are away at Liverpool where we will need to play the best at "reading the game" to match the darting runs from their forwards. IMO it is no longer about "best x1" but about having a squad - 2 players for every position.

Uefa web site says that is 32 in a row for Rickie from the spot. http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/news/newsid=1913517.html They list some of the other great penalty takers including Matty.

Saints will get 'development fee' if bale is sold
Saint_John replied to Batman's topic in The Saints
Here is an Echo article from 2006 on him before he had made a 1st team appearance. The interesting bit for me is the 3rd paragraph from the end when you consider he almost single handed tried to get that 4th CL place from arsenal. I hope the bedwetters on here remember that when Luke plays against chelski or Rickie tries to help Saints beat Liverpool for a European place. ? Why do the London Press / media / bedwetters on here make such an issue of Luke being a Chelsea supporter and yet never mention the team that Bale supports ? -
IMO "intermediaries" are people LIKE that ex Saints player who was hired by Arsenal to "do a report" on AOC and as we all know their first offer was only about £5M for him.

Who would you like to replace Schneiderlin?
Saint_John replied to wessex saint's topic in The Saints
Imo it is more likely we made an offer for a Real Sociedad player. They are insulted by our offer and have "leaked" the rumour about a cheeky offer for Morgan. A few weeks ago we made an offer for a Benfica player; they were insulted by the offer from an "upstart English club who are not in any European comp". So they leaked the rumour about Poch going to be their Manager etc. imo the same is happening here. The question of this thread should be who is the Real Sociedad player we have made an offer for ? Perhaps ?????? Griezmann - French aged 22; quick, direct left winger 10 goals in 34 ????. -
Imo the 10%/12.5%/15% is just to STALL any deal until later in the window. The Agent will probably reduce it later to the normal of 5% later. What if the Agent has been told by another Club that there is a chance that Reina/Suarez to Spain; Fellaini to Arsenal or Bale to Spain etc. etc. MIGHT happen and the selling club would be interested in his services. ("Keep us informed ...."). If we satisfied the Agents demands now I bet "another issue" would arise tomorrow, for example "Clauses in contracts about speaking to other CL Clubs in 12 months for £10m" etc. I think something similar happened last summer with Gaston but no one came in later in the window to beat our offer. The difference this summer is that someone north of the border has been "leaking" information to put everything in the press.

The FIFA web site said he only played on one of them :- The 5th June v Nigeria (lost 0-1) http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/africa/matches/round=258334/match=300181927/index.html They had another game on the 12th June against Malawi but he didn't play. http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/africa/matches/round=258334/match=300180957/index.html It also says they have 3 games in July 7th, 9th and 11th http://www.fifa.com/associations/association=ken/index.html#gender=m

Has anybody considered it may be an issue with the Willis-Fleming Estate which runs north from Burgess Rd, through Bassett and Chilworth and includes parts of Swaythling. They have clauses in the deeds of ALL the properties in that area. The clauses say things like you cannot have a "Brewery" or "House of Worship" on the site etc. AND they also says the owner CANNOT "alter the appearance of the property" without their permission, i.e. cannot add a Porch or a Conservatory or Swimming Pool etc. When we sold our house in that area the purchaser's solicitor questioned the change of Front Door and asked us for a letter from the Fleming Estates giving permission. This was a shock to us because we changed one door for another on maintenance grounds (general up keep of the property). Our Solicitor passed this information back which the purchasers were happy with BUT she also said that the Fleming Estates is looked after by a semi-retired solicitor down in Somerset and it can take 3-4 MONTHS to get permission for anything plus they charge a high fee for very simple things. Perhaps Morgan wanted to add something to the property and got put off by the Fleming Estates (these clauses in deeds must be strange to the non-English) or perhaps his solicitor questioned certain alterations to the property i.e. (a) ? photo 8 is that an extension ? (b) I don't know whether Photo 14 would fall into an "alteration" as it is not a covered area.

Here are a couple (I was having trouble with the A/F so not the best) The players at the Chapel end :- And OWTSGMI -
Nothing has been published on Bailii, which is the only public source I know. (I check every day). http://www.bailii.org/recent-decisions-ew.html#ew/cases/EWHC/Ch From what i remember it was a reporter that said it would be published, not necessarily the Judge. And of course there were other parties involved that were not in court that might object to the information becoming public i.e. Football League re conditions for the Share or the PFA re players contracts etc.

Money usually talks and there is a £5 Million difference between 10th (£8.3m) and 17th (£3.0m) in prize money, (£4.5m for 11th because I cannot see hoof-ball losing). That £4.5m can bring in a higher class of player imo. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2314578/Why-mid-table-sides-play-Premier-League-prize-money-2013.html

For the people who said our defence wasn't good enough
Saint_John replied to Dazza82's topic in The Saints
But we did take action in January. The last FIVE games AWAY from home have been :- NIL at Norwich; NIL at reading; NIL at Swansea; A Bale special at spurs from their ONLY real shot on goal; Today a deflect shot from sunderland only real shot. This improvement away from home with the defence is down to us defending as a UNIT which is a big improvement from the 1st half of the season where I felt we were defending as INDIVIDUALS and I put this down to work Poch has done on the training ground. He came in January and his first action was to get the midfield to "PRESS", and now he has got the team to defend as a "UNIT". He now needs to turn his attention to us (a) taking our chances especially away from home (b) shooting from outside the area and © how to play against sides like hoofball-sam, or wba who bypass midfield. -
One thing no one has mentioned is that 4 days after they play us is they have a "cup final for a CL place" when they have an away game at Chelsea (8th May). The winner of that game will get a CL place imo and they will probably have one eye on that game especially late in our game.

I didn't realise until somebody told me that WBA gave FREE TRAVEL to yesterday's game. http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/west-bromwich-albion-fc/2013/03/09/west-brom-fans-get-free-travel-for-southampton-trip/ It appears they have been doing that once a season for the last 11 seasons and only lost once which probably makes for a party type atmosphere that they generated yesterday.

The recent case is not up there (yet? ), however the mystery case with that firm of solicitors (Neumans) that was unreported at the time is up there (select Home then search etc.). The final day of that case was the 12 Oct but it was not loaded until 2 Nov. Notes 3 to 16 are worth a read because they give some actual dates and amounts involved in Admin 1 and that Neumans were appointed on the 15th Dec. Even though the "myth" from Cheats FC at the time is that they know nothing about a winding up order from HMRC on the 23rd Dec. The case I believe involves those Solicitors being "shafted" by Cheats FC (imo everyone usual is) for work done between 15 Dec & 12 Feb. And who was that person connected to the Club who paid them £160k (p 9) ? Chainrai ?? and did that go through the books ? http://www.bailii.org/cgi-bin/markup.cgi?doc=/ew/cases/EWHC/Ch/2012/3088.html&query=portsmouth+and+football&method=boolean

So that article says the increase will be from the current £48m (£16m , £16m, £8m & £8m) to a new £60m However at the weekend the Observer said the following :- http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2013/apr/13/uefa-racism-kick-it-out If correct much of that increase is front loaded in year 1 (£16m to £23M), however I cannot believe they will reduce the 4th years payment.

The only register I know of is BAILII but I don't know if "out of court" appear on there. ( refresh; select Chancery) http://www.bailii.org/recent-decisions-ew.html I've been checking it twice a day since the case but the last one added is the HSBC case (added 12th; hearing 9th)

One thing that I don't think anybody has said but was reported on Radio Solent at about 7:05/7:10 this morning is that they understand that "the Trust will be paying Chainrai's legal fees" http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p016m148/Julian_Clegg_11_04_2013/ at 37:00 ish.

The best write-up of the rules I've seen is here :- http://www.lawinsport.com/blog/daniel-geey-s-blog/item/premier-league-has-jumped-aboard-the-financial-regulation-ship but even he doesn't know all the details. However there is a section for promoted clubs etc. but he ends by saying
