Thats good, because you're the one that started trying to argue with me initially, now youre backing down. So maybe next time do you research before trying to disprove someone and quote them. My initial comment you replied to was basically ''dont be bashing the uk and praising the eu when the Eu has messed up too. '' and your final reply is basically 'dont bash the EU' . Lmfao works both ways mate, dont falsely bash the uk then we don't get topics going off topic. Us being outside of the Eu benefitted Ukraine. Facts.

They didnt actually send jack shit for ages, they promised then didn't deliver for months. Why do you have a selective memory?
  4. No they hadnt, Germany took forever to send anything. France did too iirc. Pledging and doing it are very different things. We were the first and sent the most in Europe (usa sent loads too) and Zelensky saw Johnson as his strongest ally. Btw, i didn't take it off topic, the guy i replied to with his unnecessary dig at our country that had nothing to do with the world cup.
  5. Ah yes , the same European countries that sat around twiddling their thumbs while Russia invaded Ukraine , while Johnson and UK were busy sending them weapons and training.
  6. You mean you didnt think the Belgians had it in them? From what I've seen it is Moroccan fans ''celebrating by rioting''. Basically an F U to Belgium. ''The police fired tear gas and a water cannon was deployed after dozens of rioters, mainly youths of Moroccan origin, set fire to rubbish and smashed up cars in the city centre.'' https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/morocco-fans-run-riot-after-shock-world-cup-win-over-belgium-cn67nkv5t https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-11-28/morocco-football-fans-riot-in-belgium-after-fifa-world-cup-win/101704692
  7. https://reddit5.soccerstreams.net/ if youre into streaming , you need a non mobile device ideally, tablets and phones never work 100% right with all website based streams in my experience. They can work better for streaming if you install kodi and use that to stream, need corect add ons though
  8. As a kid I always wondered saints weren't involved with the council estates more, they were full of footballing talents growing up. They do the saints kicks thing but I'm not sure that's enough as we aren't seeing many real local youngsters from poor families come through. https://www.southamptonfc.com/saints-foundation/projects/involvement/saints-kicks Transport shouldnt be hard to solve if it is an issue, send a different minibus to each estate to pick them up.
  9. Dont rate what he brought in anyway.

  11. About the moneyball approach, I've got a few questions , if you or anyone else could help me out...... Doesn't it still require good recruitment staff to do it properly, and didn't we lose our best recruitment staff? How much input do SR have on player purchasing/sales, are they doing the spotting using their other clubs to help out too? What happens if you have two bad windows of not uncovering any gems , wouldnt you run the risk of having a filled with players that arent quite good enough? Also, Manager pull/links. How important is that in the moneyball approach? Seems like it could make it or break it? Reason I ask is some of our diamonds in the rough later sold on for profit, have been pure manager buys. Oh and lastly , i know its rumours from on here, but if the board told Semmens to spend big for a striker and he fluffed it arguing over a couple mill, how does that fit into the moneyball approach? Spending big, but also relying on a non football guy to do your purchases (meaning he isnt aware of importance of things, like getting a striker in)? Seems a bit counter to the system no? Then on top of that you have them becoming more disconnected from the fanbase, treating fans poorly, blaming us fans for away fans causing issues etc. Honestly I dont trust their judgement atm. Can I ask , what have they done at Saints to convince you?
