  1. Were we calling those crosses? They looked more like blind hacks towards the box-ish. Cross is too friendly and deliberate a term.
  2. Raising that Chelsea price tag for next season...
  3. Commentator - "Southampton fans must be wondering what has gone wrong this season..." Oh, we aren't wondering... Several of the reasons are on the pitch today.
  4. Selles out - his pants fit. We prefer our managers in sweats that are 2 sizes too small for those package shots. Am I right?
  5. Yes, but the players were smiling in this latter video. They were being told to smile by their manager in the previous. And what a morning we are all having...
  6. It wasn't just the free-kicks. JWP was playing short corners from the left side to Perraud for out-swinging, sub-par crosses. All of this combined wreaked of overthinking simple plays. That has to come from above.
  7. No one expected to be up at half... Can't remember the last time I was in this good of a mood at half. Damn near jovial.
  8. If he chooses the wrong players??? I have seen nothing over the past months to think he is going to suddenly put together a cohesive plan. I fully expect to see Diallo and Ely on that pitch come kickoff.
  9. Sidney, you sound like Nathan Jones blaming the fan base ><
  10. I don't think he's awful. My a-hole doesn't pucker every time he touches the ball like it does when diallo is in control.
  11. I dont think it is fair to blame the defense when our midfield is literally short passing the ball to the brentford forwards for quick breaks the other way. Maybe that is why we should be playing hoof-ball. We might avoid Diallo coughing it up in a dangerous spot.
  12. Im in the Jones out camp any afternoon Diallo or Ely make it onto the pitch.
  13. It's nearing that time of the week where I think to myself, "They can't surely be that bad. Jones just needs a bit more time." Luckily, I have everyone in this forum to reassure me that they are, in fact, that tragic.
  14. Can we grab the pitchforks yet? "Now, if we can start enjoying ourselves and communicating, what a morning we will have." -Nathan Jones
  15. 100%. Barring divine-intervention, I am expecting a catastrophic shelling. I welcome the chance to eat those words. And I have faith in our front office after seeing how our targets performed at the world cup (Gakpo, Ramos). This NJ move might be 4D chess??? Looking forward to finding out.
  16. Worked against us for 2 years.
  17. I have been less excited about the prospect of a new manager. Wolves can't find a suitable, willing replacement, after all. But at this point... We can give AlexLaw a shot for all I care. He couldn't be worse.
  18. That better be more than a maybe.
  19. And the wolves are down... And Leicester is up... It's not a magic wand.
  20. And the wolves are down... And Leicester is up... It's not a magic wand.
  21. I turned the game on 2 min. late. I hadnt even registered that Diallo was on the pitch. Completely anonymous...AMN has to get a chance today.
  22. Or maybe that player just gets sent out on a hasty loan to Villa?
  23. August has a brutal lineup for us. I tend to be an optimist, but I foresee dropping the first 5 games. I expect many of you will get your manager change at that point. It is tough to argue against it.
  24. As least Ralph left the track pants at home today. Maybe that's where today began to unravel?
  25. I am officially excited for the season. Arrriiiibboooo!
