He. A neighbour of mine here in Caversham - late 30s married with 2 young lads (hence not moving down to Southampton area with the job at this point).

A friend of mine in Reading has recently started a new job in Hedge End and, as the commute is a bit ofa long one is looking for a room to rent a couple of nights a week. Anyone with a spare room looking for a few quid a week let me know and I'll put you in touch Cheers Dave

Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"
Foxy replied to St. Jason's topic in The Saints
But perhaps (and we only saw the cut version of the interview) we may have been referring to the anti-Wotte polacards and chants we saw in the ITV montage of the protest. If that's the case he was probably fair in saying that people were quick to pass judgement, given that he's about a week into the job. And frankly ITV's article on the game was based around a divided club and angry fanbase so they will have editted the interview to fit with that mood IMO. From the couple of interviews I have seen Wotte seems to come over OK. He's preseided over two OK results. I'm happy to wait a while and consider the tough circumstances he's inherited before I pass judgement. Oh, and unlike some I don't hold the rather bigotted view that being from the Netherlands somehow makes you less capable as a football coach. After all Branfoot, Redknapp and my mum are all English but I woudln't want any of them trying to mastermind a relegation fight on a shoestring budget -
Or cheap political points scoring - which it is if he knows Lowe and Wilde don't have £2M apiece to chuck in then Leon isn't actually making a real offer. But I don't know the guy so it may or may not be the case

Good draw, gets a couple of our rivals for the cup out of the way early. BTW does anyone else think that Jom Rosenthal looks like the epitome of evil?
-
But Sagga coming back next week. Of the two I'd prefer Saga, particularly in the system we're playing - and if it's a big earner gone it should help a bit
-
Lita on big (by our standard) wages and don't underestimate his capacity as a pain in the bum and disruptive influence. He's exactly what we don't need within a million miles of our impressionable youngsters.

Nope. And regarding Pearson, did we not finish in the sme position we currently occupy with a squad which was stronger on paper and on experience? Jan's not the problem. Money is.

4 points from last two. I'd have had your arm off if offered that at 2.55 on Saturday. Be interesting to see reports from the game as stats suggest we had the better of it
-
Pessimism ho - I'd take a draw now
-
Hate not having commentary when it gets to this stage and it's close. The imagination starts to run riot

Full of hope but once again I find myself thinking I haven't a clue what will happen. Not much in the way of useful insight there, then.

Or to take it further up the food chain (wealth-wise): Spurs: Berbatov, Keane Arsenal: Henry, Viera Man Utd: Van Nistelrooy Juventus: Zidane Barcelona: Figo and so on

Everyone I have spoken to agreed it was four attacking players all changing positions constantly. But given the great result against a strong team the moan at all cost types and little Englanders need some sort of stick to beat JP with if he wins!

Dunno, but I think it's a schelebratory schmoke for Jan this evening

I live in Caversham (just outside Reading) and have a lot of Reading ST holders as friends and neighbours. They were pretty confident beforehand (rightly so you'd have thought) but I have already spoken to a couple and they were pretty magnanimous, saying we were much the better team and had looked as good as anything at the Mad Stad all season. Shame we aren't as good at home - perhaps if the lads had the crowd behind them in the same way at SMS and took away some of the fear of failing we'd see more of this?
-
Classic saints, let some fella in who hadn't scored in 43 games
-
Skates concede now 1-1 with Hull. Things looking good just now. Even 'The New Saints' are 2 up against Bangor - whoever the hell they are
-
Jingle bells, jingle bells jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to see Southampton win away (please don't let that jinx us)

Talking about the two penalty shouts the Radio Berks guys reckon the handball by Ingemarsson should have been given while they felt the second one was borderline. Given they are about as even handed as the Solent guys I guess that makes 'em both somewhere between stick on and aggravated rape in terms of blatant fouls
