Typical spuds. We destroy Villa, they get a jammy win over Hull

I kept thinking it was 1st April. Funny!

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED

Jay Rod back plus maybe Charlie Austin. Now that would be grand! -
Am I the only one who would drop big Vic? His passing has been apalling the last two games

Post-Match Reaction: Leicester City 2-0 SAINTS
WealdSaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Chronic lack of confidence. The first 10 minutes promised a really great game like the Spurs game. The first goal went in and our confidence vanished When we attack time and time again players go for the safe pass allowing Leicester's defense time to fully organise when finally we try the ambitious pass we give the ball away Why on earth Clyne kept floating in high crosses when they had 3 tall centre backs god only knows I agree with FF that Gallagher should have had the last 10 minutes -
I was 9. Just behind my wedding & the birth of my two sons as the greatest day of my life

Well done Bournemouth. Lets hope we can enjoy having local rivals without it descending into the horrors that our rivalry with Pompey sometimes has produced

The Daily Mail article is almost a "Please come and get me" to Spuds. Not that Levy will spend the sort of money that Manure would want

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official
WealdSaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I expect most of this is agent generated talk. I fully expect Clyne to move on in the close season. However, I expect him to play a full part in the remainder of this season. IF he was foolish enough to play silly games between now and the end of the season then I suspect that RK will not forgive or forget. RK is an immense figure in world football and Clyne would be foolish indeed to upset him -
A point will do for Hull. I expect the bus to be parked again.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Still think we should have Reed on the bench

I usually come with my oldest son (16) but he has had to cancel, so I am bringing my younger boy (13) who hasn't really got any real interest in football. He asked if it was going to be noisy (we have tickets in Northam stand) the older boy p**ed himself. Anyway, last two times we have journeyed over from darkest Kent has been for Man City & Swansea. So change your son, change your luck I am hoping! I guess the same side as started against Chelsea? I would like Pelle to get on and get a goal, I would also like to see Harrison Reed get a runout. If big Vic gets suspended (which is fairly likely) then I would like him match sharp
-
He took his goal quite nicely for U21 last night. A useful squad player if we have EUFA Cup football next season?

Saints v Liverpool (U21s) - live stream tonight

We may watch a lot of those lads on Thursday nights in the UEFA next season -
Getting a run out with a very strong U21 side tonight
-
Stoke lost which is good for us
-
Saw him score a cracker against Norwich at St Mary's when we were in Lge 1. I was in with the Norwich fans that day so had to turn my cheer into a coughing fit!
-
Would like to see Harrison Reed at least on the bench. Defence & Def. midfield will be key, with some pace up front for the counter attact
-
I'd love Burnley to get a result.

Saints 1 Palace 0 - Post Match Nerve Reconstruction

Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwww that was hard work. Good work from JWP for the goal but his defensive work after that gave me brown trousers! -
Yes I know, but he has put some belters in for Eng U21 I live in hope!
-
I'd prefer JWP to Tadic. He is like Pelle, sooner or later the dam will break and he will start scoring goals
-
Gosh was that really 10 years ago! 5 years of really crap times followed. Then 5 years of really good times. Thanks to Katerina & Markus. I think 5 years ago we would all have taken loosing two in a row and being a bit down because we had dropped to 5th in the Prem!
-
Pelle is an important outlet for the long ball and is a useful extra centre back at set pieces. I think we only dare drop him when Sam Gallagher is fully ready.

It will be interesting to see. The FL seem to be fairly arbitrary in their decision making.
