Well done Nigel.

The stewards do a hard job.........esp. hard if, as I suspect, a lot of them share the concerns of most fans about the current management. Even harder still if the current management promote stewards who share their "unique" views. The vast majority, I suspect are saints fans who are as cut up as we are.

Its hard to think how anybody could put a positive spin on the record of the current board. Even the "we inherited a financial mess" wears a bit thin when the conclusion of most people is "so they changed the manager, cut costs............and made the mess even worse"!!

I suspect that we hav'nt had a properly fit squad since WGS left. If I remember correctly from Souness's book that when he was here Lowe said he knew some chaps from Loughborough University that could help with the fitness of the squad and that Souness declined the offer. Obviouly a lot of water has flowed under the Itchen Bridge since then ;-)

Shame really. Saw them play away at Reading the other week and they played nice football. Playing nice football, but keep losing...........now where else have I been reading that?

The season is'nt over until we are mathmatically relegated. But agree the next few games are important, some decent results and we have a fighting chance. Sadly, other than at home to Sheff. Utd at the end of last season, I can't recall many "must win" games that we have won recently. I'm always up for a change of course!

I agree. Basically, they took a risk of hiring expensive players the season after the parachute payments stopped, in the hope of us going up. The gamble failed. Just like the gamble of not investing in the team in our last yr in the prem. Just like the gamble of hiring an inexpieranced Dutch Coach.................
