  1. I've got that sinking feeling :-(
  2. The fact that even small share transfers send the price down means to me (who know little I admit!) that were any of the major shareholders to release even part of their holding onto the open market that the share price would tumble to nearly nothing. Perhaps a few people who were offered the chance to sell up in the past are deeply regretting their decision (and maybe not happy with the people who advised them not to)
  3. You were the cheapst applicants for the vacant managers job.....all you need to do is to say that I'm wonderful and that you are going to transform Championship football, if it worked for the WI it can work for Saints!
  4. I'm almost certain there is a hefty sell on clause for BWP. Pity really
  5. Scene one: Barclays say........you can't play Saga you can't afford his wages. Rupert nods Scene two (what might have happened if Lowe has stayed in the wilderness) Barclays say.....you can't play Saga you can't afford his wages. Crouch says...Fine I'll pay them myself. ************************************************* Crouch + Pearson + Saga = Comfortable mid table for our club Lowe+Wilde+JP = 2nd from bottom in Jan All in IMHO of course!
  6. B,C & D Keep up the good work! Lowe Out!
  7. While there is life there is hope. Sadly, its a long time since a new manager has "hit the ground running" at Saints. All the recent ones seemed to have a series of losses at the start.
  8. I would imagine that things are past them working together.......but who knows
  9. "That would be the normal thinking but sadly at board level at the moment normal thinking goes out of the window sometimes. " How true Matt, how true
  10. So my hours looking at the OS and this forum have not been entirly wasted ;-)
  11. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I wish
  12. I doupt they will take any non football related questions. Maybe there will be a new letter to read out from the fantom fan ;-)
  13. I thought he signed a one year contract............I may be wrong
  14. I think its a good idea. I guess the club have to pay him either way so make use of him. I guess he could do a good half time Bo**King
  15. Can't help but feel a little sorry for him..........but the table dos'nt lie. Sadly the people who appointed him when we had a perfectly good manager hav'nt the integrity to resign as well.
  16. I'm sure that Rupert will read out another letter from an anon supporter on Monday telling us how well things are going. LOWE OUT
  17. Cowan & Askham possibly as well. Less likely....but not impossible
  18. Yes looks good to me
  19. Will any of the major shareholders be there I wonder?
  20. Yes I remember! :-) :-(
  21. I had to laugh at his "worst night in my footballing life"............O YERRRRRR!
  22. I never wanted Lowe back. I was prepared to give JP a chance.....but the honeymoon with "total football" has been short and disappointing A new board & a new manager please.
  23. I wonder how good Lowe's relationship with the various large share holders who backed him is? My hunch is they backed him because he told them he was the man to save the club from administration and therefore their money invested in saints shares. The sudden revelations in the Daily Mail could possible be the signs of splits within Ruperts backers as some of them are having doubts about if they picked the right chap. The purpose of the revelation being to remind them, and everybody else, about how terribly close we are to administration and how if we don't do as Uncles Rupert tells us and not critise his all wise decisions then the whole club will go to the wall.
  24. I suspect that the Daily Mail article originated from Lowe. What will be interesting is how all the shadowy shareholders that have backed Lowe will react. Were they to be contacted by Crouch, Fulthrope etc etc. with a minimal offer for their shares (which will be worthless come March) would they sell?
