Fry seems to have changed his tune in a few days............his earlier statement was very damning of the FL. Now he's on the "O s*** I better sell this quickly" path.

My take for what its worth. Someone at Pinnacle is probably taking a cold look at the dealings with the FL. They are probably unwilling to lie down and agree to a totally one sided agreement (i.e. you loose 10 points, no appeal and we reserve the right to take away more points if we want). However, the FL are used to having everything their own way (unless of course your West Ham) and will probably get it :-( Either Pinnacle will play ball with the FL (and we get a club) or they will walk away and one hell of a lot of mud will be thrown at the FL (and our club will be back in intensive care)

Mr Fry isn't a happy man me thinks, "incredible abuse of power" are strong words from someone who has been pretty measured so far.

What we need is a manager who understands this league and who is allowed to buy/loan a few players to get the balance he (she?) wants

My Advice for what its worth :- 1. The league position never lies. 2 .You can please some of the people some of the time (this is what Rupert Lowe failed to do in the last year) 3. You can't please all the people all of the time.

Considering the changes we've had in the boardroom over the last 3 years this would seem to be a very logical explaination of taking times to tie up odds and ends. Lets hope its lots of little snags and no big ones and that we have a club to support next season

Would love a clean break............new owners, new manager, bright (even brightish would do) future. But would always have a passing interest in the politics that bought us to the miserable state we are now in. Maybe if we are lucky to start afresh the mods could set aside a special area for "tales by the fireside of when bad/good king Rupert ruled"

Just suppose this was Crouch's opening bid. Would you start low when negotiating with Lowe (excuse the pun!). I'm not ITK, but I suspect that when the details are known, a relatively modest input of capital by the major shareholders could have stopped administration.
