Doubtless when one of the "major" clubs, or one which has the "right" contacts at the FA goes into admin the points deductions will be reconsidered.

Hard one to call really......my dad who is also Saints thro' and thro' always tried to play down the "rivalry" between our clubs. Ever since meeting some P**pey fans on the tube before the '84 semi final against Everton who had bought tickets just to come and cause trouble I've had a dark view. Plenty of them were gloating at our problems in the last few yrs. I guess if they folded I'd miss the enjoyment of looking at the results each week to see if they had lost. If they don't sort out a buyer, guess they will want to go into admin before the cut off point to avoid starting -10 in the CCC.

Day to day he will now be the most important person at the club by a country mile.

Would have happily settled to be in this situation a few weeks ago. Will be interesting how Pardew plays things. After Charlton he will not want another failure. I would happily settle for a season where the players play as if they really care and we improve the squad. Promotion would be an unexpected bonus. Promotion the next season with the nucleus of a squad capable of getting up from the championship the season after is however a must.

Not a bad thing for ML & the club to play it cool. There are a lot of clubs where financial reality will bite soon. I think that we can get excellent value for what funds ML makes available if we are quiet and business like.

I'm waiting for the first of the new generation of ITK'ers to come out of the woodwork!

I think that the club owes Crouch respect and thanks. However, we now have a new start. Let McMenemy & Crouch be the "grand old men" of the club. Much respected for past deeds but now just fans.

The right decision IMHO However, I think Mark Wotte was a decent bloke and deserves respect
