If RK can get the same spirit among the players that Adkins & MoPo did then I can't see us going down. However, I can't remotely see a top 10 finish.

He's a different sort of player to Sir Rickie, but I hope that he can pop up at the far post now and then just like Rickie used to for us. Good luck, the rebuilding carries on!

The guy has got great ability, he just hasn't got an all round game yet. Hopefully, RK can get the best out of him.

Agreed, but no other player (other than Kelvin that I can think of) has been at the club for that long. Would send the message that if you play consistently in the first team for 5 + years than you get the very best wages

We can't afford to pay a whole squad of players £100K a week, but we could afford to pay one player. Offer Morgan the Captains armband and £100K a week.

We will only ever compete with bigger clubs by growing commercially. This is an area that has not had enough work done on it in the last five years.

A good signing. He only has a year on his contract, so in a way £8 Million would be good for Burnley as well (not sure that all Burnley fans will share that opinion!)

As my wife is Danish, I have watched Bendtner playing a lot for Denmark. He is the opposite of a lot of our top players who are S***t for their country and great for their clubs. If Koeman can motivate him he might do well for us as a short term cover for JRod.

I feel a bit sad that he has left us. I do think that it would have been better for everybody for him to spend another year at Saints (as with hindsight it would have been for Walcott & Oxo) The next few weeks in the transfer market are pretty crucial!

Was an interesting exp. watching a game concentrating on just one player. My view was that he played well, a good defensive midfielder.
