Two 1-0 losses in a row to Burnley, both goals in the 78th minute I think. The pattern of that defeat was all too predictable I'm afraid. The longer it goes 0-0 the more likely the the opposition is going to nick one, when we couldn't score in a ****ing brothel and our keeper does **** all except pick the ball out of the net.

The consistency with our games take this kind of pattern is becoming beyond a joke now!

They often love to favour the team who wins, regardless of the pattern of play. "Deserved it for their charactor" etc etc. Had the game pattern and flow been completely identical other than Hull's 2 goal, and had just won 1-0, they'd be saying we deserved to win by 4 or 5 and that Hull were absolutely dreadful.

The first season we won 3-1 having been a goal down. The following season when we won promotion was the 0-0 draw

Would agree with all of this. At the halfway point of the season the situation abs general performances, were frankly embarrassing. However the 2nd half of the season gives me real hope that we can develop a genuinely decent young side mixed with a bit of experience. For the first time in a long while we have a good handful of young players who seem of a high enough calibre to excel at the highest domestic level. If we can add a decent bowler, as Weston predicts, and the current batch can keep developing, then I would say we have a decent chance of going back up. Notts will probably be favourites though, with only 1 going up.
