227/8 at lunch. Not looking good at all, and be lucky to even muster a 2nd batting point here. Defeat seems very likely now, meaning we may only go into the final game 2 or 3 points ahead of essex
-
Looking at the final few fixtures, Worcs are playing Essex last game, so if Worcs did get thrashed then it would be Essex who'd go up in their place (provided Essex had already beaten a woeful Leics in their penultimate game). Surrey chances basically hinge on Essex failing to beat Leics. If Essex win then it's more than likely that one of Worcs and Essex will gain enough points from Their final meeting to ensure they finish above surrey. Worcs making a late fist of this here too.

Yep, Essex need 21 to win so that's a given. That'll give them 22 points. I'd be fairly sure that Surrey will win their game too with worcs 120 odd behind on first innings. Unless words dig very deep, then that'll be a full 24 points for surrey meaning hants still have a bit of work to do yet to get over the line. Still, beat a pretty average kent side at home next week and we'll be up

What is it with you and butt ****ings?
-
Wow. What utter drivel this turned out to be, as widely expected.

All we need now for a full house is for someone to find the thread in April 2012 during the promotion run in When alpine stated pretty much as fact that we would slip out of the top 2, and then get "butt ****ed by Cardiff in the play offs". Priceless

Just goes to show how much good the midweek run out and goal has done for his confidence. The decision by RK to give him a full 90 at millwall and the chance to grab that goal may well have been the difference in how he played today. Terrific stuff

Apparently Lazio were forced to release his birth certificate. after the Senegalese media claimed he was 41!

Unbelievable. Either this is a wind up Or you really do have no idea whatsoever -
Bart-Williams scored a hat trick against us once too....embarrassing. 5-2 defeat at Sheff wed.

Lallana completes move to LFC for a fee of around £25m

You really have bought into this "dream" nonsense and turned into a total joker. You expect us to be able to compete with Liverpool all of a sudden in the "ambition" stakes? Complete clown, you really need to get a grip of yourself and remember the overall history and level SFC usually resides at, and actually things aren't THAT bad. Rather than acting like a spoilt kid who got really greedy and then threw out his toys when an unrealistic pipe dream was finally unveiled as being unrealistic. You're embarrassing yourself as many others have also said on here -
Listening to crab lungs over the last couple of weeks has been beyond painful, he's been an utter embarrassment with his comments, which has surprised me as I previously assumed he was one of the more rational posters. In reality he's been even more of a toy thrower than Alpine. Like a child who's had his favourite toy taken away. Pathetically silent since today's news aswell. How convenient.

You could try spending a day with alpine?
-
"He's gonna flick one here, he's gonna flick one, he's gonna flick one!!! And it's in!!"
-
Alpine still thinks it'll be Mick Wadsworth

Appalling show of commitment from our players

What the hell? This **** heap of a club? You've come across a right wet fanny these last few weeks, like a spoilt little boy -
Jesus Christ. This sums up the modern saints fan, I feel. Utterly laughable
-
I now have no faith in this joke of a "board" to bring in a decent replacement. Getting the feeling that succes on the pitch now isn't as paramount as the finances. As soon as that happens It's always a wonder whether any decision is actually made on footballing grounds first, or finances/yes men first

If Lallana has gone aswell for a fee below even below what we initially asked then this a disgrace. What's an even bigger disgrace though is the pure contempt the club must hold it's football fans in if they think they can patronise us about doing the best for the clubs interests on the playing side, not selling any until new manager says so, then simply doing the exact opposite right away. This is a major insult and an utter **** take, bordering on arrogance. Krueger has to resign now if Lallana Goes in the next few days

The guy is clearly a puppet just being paraded in front of the media with suitable "spin" while the others hide in the background trying to recoup funds. He isn't completely stupid and must know how his ridiculous statements on Wednesday now look with what's happened since. He'll be fully it's made him look a prat, maybe he doesn't care, who knows. All I can see he's never going to be believed about anything he says from now on, so what's the point him ever bothering to say anything again?
