Lol calm down veccy. It just seems some people were having a full blown panic attack a month ago and are now looking a bit silly. I myself was a little worried but that isolated Arsenal game was solace enough to know that we should have had way too much in our tank to be sucked into a relegation battle. I will never have a Burger from one of those vans outside the ground again after I got a terrible norovirus type illness from one after the Reading game in our first prem season. 4 days off work with ****s and sickness and was literally on the ****ter every half hour, even throughout the night. Two seasons ago at this point we had 36 points from 25 games (W9 D9 L7). So we are 1 point ahead at the moment. Last season we had a massive 46 points but fell away a bit, as we know.

A reasonably accurate way of looking at what the safety points total will be at the end of the season is to look at how many points per game the team in 18th currently has (Norwich - 23 from 25 games) and add a point per game to the end of the desk. which is usually fairly reliable to giving you the points total of the team in 18th at end of season. This would therefore be 36 points, so it's probable that 37 points will see you safe at the end of the season. Of course if everyone at the bottom wins next weekend, you can re-calculate using this simple method. Simple but effective

Just seen the highlights and it was a lumped ball up the middle followed by a couple of passes along the ground to men in space and then slotted into the corner from about 8 yards! Seriously the average kind of goal you see every week at pretty much most levels.
