Not sure about it being a conspiracy, but it is defo typical deflection and distraction tactics. I see the media also doing their usual fear mongering with old pictures being reused to act as if it is this current invasion. Don't know how to post pictures on here but they used one a couple of days ago of tanks in the street which was from 2016. Why do they do this. What's the point.

See, you can answer things when you try. BBC world don't talk about Covid at all now. It is 24.7 Ukraine.
-
So no answer. Hmmm. Odd. I asked a perfectly straight forward question, and you turned it into skin colour. Very odd indeed.
-
Not quite sure why u brought their skin colour into it. It was a pretty straight forward question about two British male comedians. Hmmm. Odd.

Terrorism dominates the news for years, along comes covid....no more terrorism. Covid dominates, along comes Putin, covid is gone from our screens. Anyone would think it was all diversion and distraction tactics.

For those over 40, a trip back memory lane

A vivid memory for me is when I was very young before I was allowed to go to away games, listening to Solent on the radio. They always had a live commentary from Portsmouth or Bournemouth, which I always found weird because there was no crowd noise in the background as the crowd figures were so small. They would only break commentary when there was a goal in our game. Always nerve wracking as u never knew if we scored or they did. Great memories though. On a side note, I always wondered why saints were always so bad away from home back then. -
What do you think of Nish Kumar and Lenny Henry?

The reverse is just as true. The myopic hatred for trump does not mean he would not have done better than Joe. The political bias and blindness on here is bewildering.
-
Blimey, small world mate. My other half is from here also, though we are not married as yet. Do you still hang about here or are you both back in the UK? I watched the Man Utd. game at Frozen cafe and bar by the lake in Kalasin if you remember that place?

Absolutely got to win this. Feeling it might be a 3-1 or 4-2 sort of game. I wonder though if Ralph will play a slightly different side, resting some for the West Ham cup game? Would he/we sacrifice a couple of points to beat West Ham? It might we'll end up like that. I bloody hope not though. We should be able to field full strength both games, barring any injuries against Norwich.
-
Yes, why not? It's a bit of a weird backwater type of place to claim you live in if you don't. Not exactly a big claim. Truth be told i flit around a bit between BKK, Jomtien and here but will be spending a lot more time here in the future as i get closer to full on feet up retirement days.
-
You have made my point perfectly, and likely cannot even see it. Many thanks.

2-2 draw today, assuming the game gets played. In light of recent reasons to postpone games, I can se Everton getting it called off as they are shaken up from their arduous journey.

100% certain we will not win the FA cup this. For all of those speaking of Leicester, all I can say is LOL, and read my posts again. Outside the top 4 or 5 the only teams to ever win it are heavily funded. The likes of us will never get there as we do not compete on salary and transfer spends. You need only look at FA cup winners this century. One in 22 years. And let's be honest, football is getting less and less competitive. The top teams now are starting to win the cups more and more and more with each passing season.
-
OK, let's just wait and see shall we. Next 5 years, i guarantee you we will not win the FA Cup. Further more I'll wager at least 4 times it will be won by one of the top 4 or 5 clubs.
-
Errr, sorry you seem to miss my point. This is exactly what I am saying. We will probably make some more semi finals and finals in the next 5-10 years also, but we will NOT win either cup. It is just always a step too far for us and we always seem to come up against a top side and we fail to even turn up. Football has changed a lot in the last 5 years, so much so that now the big boys can still beat us with reserve sides in most cases. Man City 6 Watford 0 is a great example of how easy it can be to get a great run a draws and a day in the final, but invariably we will end up against a top top side and lose. Sorry, tiz my opinion and facts back it up as with each passing year it gets harder and harder. Until the money side of the game changes, we will not be winning a cup without serious investment.
-
76 was a totally different era. Have a look back over say the last 15 years and see how many times a non top 4 side has won the FA cup. It is getting harder and harder. So, unless we totally focus and commit to it, we will not be winning it anytime soon.
-
So, remind me how we got on in all the finals we have appeared in since 1976 against these sorts of sides?
-
Totally wrong. At semi final stage we and clubs like us fall short because we inevitably come up against the big boys and always always lose. Meanwhile in the early rounds we get easy games. The difference in any sport between winners and second best is always big.
-
There is a big difference between semi final and winning. A lot of teams like us get to semi's here and there but never win cups. Sad but true.
-
Dean Smith I reckon.

The best final score -
I am a bit perplexed here guys. First a question if I may. Who was right and who wrong in regards to the Cuban missile crisis? I am sure the self professed brainiacs here will say I am over simplifying, but I am not. The fact is clear. Russia does not want the Ukraine joining NATO and then having nuclear missiles pointed at them so close, just as the USA did not want Russian missiles right on their doorstep in the 60's. So, why is it Russia is always seen as the bad guys when so far as I can see, the USA is and always has been far worse in just about every way. I wonder, if trump was still in charge how many of you would change your tune towards the USA foreign policy?

Damn lucky we are playing at St. Mary's then. Got to say, hate Everton but have a horrible feeling Lampard will get a good tune out of them and we will end up with a draw at best.
