Aside from the already mentioned teams that prove this wouldn't be the case, Ipswich Town also qualified for Europe in the season they got relegated in 2001/2002 and therefore played in the UEFA Cup in 2002/2003. Back in those days, UEFA used to give I think it was 1 place to the 3 highest ranked leagues in Europe for etiquette and fair play. In 2001/2002, England were awarded a fair play spot, and Ipswich Town were the highest ranked fairplay team that hadn't already qualified for Europe from the premier league. I believe they went out in the second round to a Slovakian side on penalties.

Hi All, Looking for a ticket (or 2) for city away please. Missed my opportinity as a ST holder, but by sheer coinicence I've just bought a car from DS in Manchester and pick up is from Thursday so am now looking to go and drive up my old car and bring back my new one and take in the game if I can. Warren

Well I don't like the Rollbit sponsportship and wouldn't have bought normally. I bought the gold bolt on however so (when it was £150) so have sucked it up and used the code for away shirt.

Completely disagree with the board consensus on Perraud. We were really poor in relegation from the premier league, but Perraud was one of our bright sparks and was solid. Had a goal in him too, especially in the FA Cup.

Last ever competitive game at Goodison Park is against us!!!

Genuinely feel the new stadium layout is a huge step forward. Already got my ticket for block 41, although seeing the prices I would almost certainly have bitten for Kingsland flank if available. It's interesting how well received these prices are in the main. I was expecting the usual grumpiness, we must still be in a high from Sunday

Brilliant day out. Started with a massive argument with my brother who decided not to come, then tried to tell me he wanted to come at 11am after I'd already promised to sell his ticket. Turner notifications off and just enjoyed the day, and what a day. In tears at the end, roll on next season! -
I umm'ed and ahh'ed over whether to get an ST next year in Nirtham. Absolutely stoked I did now 😀

My +1 has bailed last minute. I have 1 ticket available for tomorrow if someone without one fancies the trip. It's a £54 ticket. Would be a case of meet before the game. Warren

Leeds went with digitial tickets. In terms of turnaround, if we trust the 3rd party who we paid £4 per ticket to have process everything did their job, it's fair to lay the blame for late tickets at the fact we have a postal system that has worsened over the last few years. But for such a turnaround, I'll maintain that we should have gone digital in the first place to stop this happening.

My brother has cancelled at the last minute. I now have a spare ticket. Face value if anyone is interested (£54)

So I'm still mad at the dreadful system and how the club screwed it up, but I have managed to get tickets. Just spent the last hour on the ticket map page spamming CTRL R every half a second. After 40 minutes of losing fastest finger first, I continued but focused on just 1 tier where add to cart was within clicking distance. 5 minutes ago, add to cart took me to the booking page with 2 seats next to each other. Tickets purchased at 1447... Phew. I need a drink

Because my brother is not, and wanted to sit together. Wouldn't mind if I hadn't been online for 4 hours and got kicked out twice. Feels like a kick in the teeth

Very upset. Got in at the timeslot for my brother. Got kicked out twice, got in just as they sold out. I retract my earlier statement, a joke of a system. Makes me regret buying a season ticket frankly

I've just logged in, but can't buy a ticket as although I have bought a ST for next season, I want my brother (member) to come to Wembley so will have to wait till Monday to buy together. Seems to be a lot of complaining about waits and such. An allocation of 36k with tickets priced as expensive as they are.... I can't see how anyone who wants a ticket will be left out. We've barely sold any by the looks of the seat map so far...
