At least we know our first choice keeper now.
-
For some value of "missing", yes
-
It's like we've put a sign up saying "get your goals here". Can we put Gavin back on?
-
Wait. Did I just see a Saints DM drive forward and shoot?
-
We have no cutting edge.
-
This is uncomfortable watching. A goalkeeper who commands his area AND distributes the ball. What sorcery is this?
-
Our new GK is talkative and comes for crosses.
-
Bless them and their condescension
-
For £10m Winks might be worth a punt. Don't want us paying Levy tax though.
-
Delap on perm. Broja on perm. Simples.
-
If SR had advertised they were investing heavily we'd be paying Newcastle tax. I like their way of doing business.
-
Now let's have Delap, Colwill, Openda and Vale.

Fank thuck for that. -
In previous years I'd assume we'd be about to put out a press release saying Ralph was happy with his striking options only for Che to get injured as the window shut. Now, I believe you're right.

Same. Any time a Saints transfer draws out I feel like it's going to fall through. -
So Long, Shane and thanks for everything. I remember your clinical seasons under Koeman and the commitment you showed every minute on the pitch.
-
That tackle meant Matt le Tiss didn't get subbed on for a farewell appearance.
-
I can't remember the last time I was this excited by a transfer window. Obviously it's Saints so it can all go tits up in a heartbeat but I'm loving the possibilities of our current approach.
-
I honestly think £75m would be good business. I think our current owners are more likely to spend the money well than our previous. And, as many have said, our midfield looks ponderous at times. I don't think JWP is dynamic enough to boss a midfield or skilful enough to really stretch other teams. There were flashes last season with a couple or peachy early balls but he's either not playing with that intent enough or high enough up the pitch to have those opportunities.
-
I pray it's a case of trying to drive the price up. His defending has looked worse than TAA when I've seen him.
-
It's a real Jekyll and Hyde. When we're on a roll it's an 9. When we're not it's a 3. That being said keeping us up with the players he inherited and absence of funds was nothing short of miraculous.
-
He only has 90 minutes (plus maybe 30)
-
Now we've lulled them by being pants in the league we'll be able to catch them napping.
-
When we become ponderous in attack is usually when we stop feeding the players bombing past on the overlap. So many times there was a player running through and the player in possession stopped and went backward. We're making the runs. Just not feeding them.
