Stephens was out on loan at Bournemouth during our relegation season. Bednarek was out on loan at Villa until the midpoint of that season. However all three of them did play in the side that went top of the Premier League in September 2020. I wouldn't describe our team as superstars but they should be able to at least compete in the Premier League.

Pep gets what he deserves for trying to claim Russell Martin's side played the best football. If you lower yourself to talk such utter bollocks you don't deserve to win any more games ever again. He took advantage of a naive vegan when he was at his lowest and there's no excuse for that.

They just miss the free scoring dominant football they became used to under Martin.

Which is all well and good by why the fuck is that guy wearing a swimming hat at about 0:57?

I think the biggest thing is the directors didn't go out, get shit faced at the Christmas party then appoint Lampard the morning after.

I can't see anyone shifting Manning from left back. Juan looks like he's bringing the firepower we've needed for so long from a proven striker. Oh, wait.....

I'm so here for this.

Not sure that will be the outcome. There may be some local cases that get enforced but it's still ridiculously easy to be anyone you want on the internet.

Unless I'm missing something that's a European citizen taking a European company to a European court in a case covered by European Law.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE Realistically the law is only going to be used if serious abuse is found to be happening. Ofcom isn't set up to police this and it's targeted at large companies. Sadly it's targeted in such a way that it's going to be impossible to argue it's prohibitive for smaller sites if you fall afoul of it. In the same way that GDPR or the IOCA laws aren't really enforced. That being said - our esteemed government has been ok to go after carers for overpaying them by £5 so no sane human would want to be left carrying the can for this. The site is run on the Invision Community platform so it would be up to them to provide the tools to handle it. Whether they intend to or not is an open question (there's a support thread where I cannot read the company response because I don't have an account with them where someone asks what they're doing). One might argue it's their responsibility to provide software that's compliant with the Act though as they are the ones providing the service, again, I wouldn't fancy arguing this in court. If Invision were counted as the company providing the service (ie. Platform) to run it then Ofcom would need to go after them (which they really aren't set up to do) which would require extrajudicial treaties in place (ie. the law needs to be recognised in the country Invision operates in). Simply put this act is impossible to enforce against a company operating of a non UK country that doesn't have a UK division. From a technical perspective it's a fucking terrible piece of legislation. TL:DR if the site is owned by someone outside the UK and they have no UK presence it's utterly toothless. If one were to set up a limited company and transfer ownership of Sainstweb to it then any fines would fall on the company and thus be subject to limited liability (ie. the company would go bankrupt but the individuals would not). From a quick skim of the the Act on the Government site then the penalties for compliance seem to fall at the company level. Reading through the act it's clearly targeted at companies rather than individuals so this is something that is a loophole that might be exploitable for smaller sites in a way it wasn't for someone like Facebook or Google. Not that I believe that this is even fully feasible to comply with for either of those companies. * note that I am not a lawyer although I have a decent amount of experience working with lawyers around laws pertaining to the Internet

Real Madrid. RM to RM means it's destiny. He'll finally have the players to play his system.

95% is better than 100%. If someone had offered us a 5 percent chance of staying up last week we'd have been elated

That's not fair to donkey's asses

The guy has a record of punching above his weight, coaching how to defend and counter attacking at speed. Which if you were writing a job description for our next manager would sound an awful lot like what we're looking for. No Premier League experience but then neither had Poch, Koeman or Ralph. Worst case - we get relegated and aren't tied to an expensive severance. Best case we somehow stay up and we've got our next manager. Inbetween case we still get relegated but things pick up. Just as long as we don't do a Hughes. As with all new Saints managers I'm willing to look for the best in him before harsh reality intervenes (whilst hoping it won't). Going for left field Championship picks hasn't worked out for us so let's try someone who has managed in a tough league.

He took a side with a very limited budget to 9th and 10th in Serie A which shows he can work with what he's got against bigger and better resourced teams. Which is a huge plus point. Any manager coming in needs to have a record of over performing their means. That being said he didn't work out at Roma so 🤷♂️ Defensively his team conceded 3rd least amount of goals however struggled to deal with teams hitting them at pace (which will happen in the Premier League) so mixed there but at least there's some hope he can coach a team to defend. His teams were known for hitting teams quickly on the counter attack. Which will be a breath of fresh air.

Gotta save their pennies to go shopping in January for everything except the striker we've needed for fucking ever.

It's stage two of the grieving process.

That's the first test. You can tell a lot about a manager by seeing what they do with Jack Stephens when they arrive.
