We can dream -
Err, how? I bet it won't be 370m by kick off.
-
I wish that were true but clubs have always tried to push prices down by talking up moves early in the window whilst talking down the price in the press. And we have a lot of potential exits this summer.
-
That didn't work out so well for his family though.
-
Lots of talking to the press happening. Next so much bidding

Or they keep whining and we have a central midfield of Charles and Lavia next season. Which I'm here for. -
And our inability to transition play through midfield. Plus when fullbacks do overlap the midfielder tends to ignore them and turn back. Lost count of the number of times last season(s) that a fullback had bombed forward for the overlap only to be ignored.

He slipped as he hit it and scooped it miles in the air. A bit like Beckham did for England once

Sadly I suspect they mean an epic fight to lowball us until as late in the transfer window as possible. -
There's only 20 days left until our first fixture. How close are we to having an idea of our starting eleven for that match? Given the number of potential exits hanging over us it's starting to be a bit concerning that we'll still be in flux for the first month of the season (as the window SLAMS shut on the 1st September.

Still fuming about the 9-0 to Man Utd where the United player dived at 6-0 ahead. He then admitted he dived to Mike Dean who still overruled the original decision to award both a penalty AND send the Saints player off. That was at the tail end of a series of gamechanging decisions from him against us.
-
That performance against City was epic. But, if you looked at the whole team's performances against Man City over the last few seasons a lot of our team would be on the cusp of being £40m players. That was a part of the problem - they only raised their game now and then and almost never for the supposedly winnable games.

I think that both Mara and Bazunu could have a future. Less so for Armstrong and Adams. We let in lots (way too many) of goals last season but Bazunu is only part of the reason for that. Our collective inability to track runners into the box or defend from crosses played a large part in that. He got almost no protection from his midfield and defence last year. That being said there needs to be a big improvement in both shot stopping and commanding his area from crosses. It looks like he's bulked up a bit since last season. I still really want the kid to succeed here. Yesterday's goal was a shocker but these things happen and at least it happened in pre-season.
-
Now watch us lay siege to their goal before our equaliser
-
So very Saintsy. Nobody followed the runner and keeper comically beaten at near post.

Who brings a cat to a football match?

Something something something Adams?
-
That did not look offside
