There comes a point where I have to wonder whether spending the last couple of hours of my life stapling my cock to the table might have been a better use of time.
-
I remember when we bossed possession against teams. Miss those days.

More like 4fucksake

Is it too soon to start talking relegation battle? Are we onto the must win 6-pointers yet?
-
Rough on Edozie and Alcaraz. Kind on Smallbone and Armstrong
-
Oh good. Another season of transfer window hindsight.
-
Maybe a shit show

AdamA is not a wide attacking midfielder. He can play behind a main striker. He can't dribble and won't commit his man and stretch play. He will work hard but that way lies Elyounoussi.
-
One minute you're on Sky Sports. The next you have to go to Shrewsbury and talk about your daughter in law.
-
Having Charles and Downes is key here
-
Only a booking?

7/10 because I don't want another season talking about 9/10. We made some good money, the club weren't pushovers. We have good options in all positions. We cleared out some of the bloat though a lot on loan. Any window that Stephens becomes captain can't be rated higher than a 6. Any window in which you sign The Loch Ness Drogba can't be lower than an 8. Hope that Sully and Che get their heads straight. Excited to see what Ballard can do at Reading. COYR

I'd still count that as a win.
-
If we're playing 2 centre backs we should play the best 2. If Harwood-Bellis and ABK are better then Stephens then I'd rather have awkward....
-
That's like picking Elyounnousi as an attacking midfielder because he's good against the ball.
-
To be fair they showcased not wanting to play for Jones pretty thoroughly. Plus not buying into a world in which case Elyounoussi was first name on the team sheet every week.
-
Maybe we all need less fishpaste in our lives
-
Fuck me, are the Sunderland shirts actually fireproof?
-
Either KWP or Downes. Probably KWP as Downes is a loan in.
-
A quick trawl of the interwebz suggests Onuachu on loan to Metz Mara to stay ABK to stay (not sure I believe this one as I suspect Dortmund are trying to negotiate on price) Roberts bid made Che to Wolves Stewart in (bid accepted) Aribo to Verona If all that comes to pass then I'd be pretty happy as we could end up having a first team of GK: Bazunu RB: KWP LB: Manning CB: Harwood-Bellis, ABK CM: Downes, Charles/Smallbone AM: AArmstrong/Alcaraz Wingers: Edozie/Fraser, Roberts/Amo-Ameyaw CF: Stewart That already looks a whole lot more balanced than last season with some real quality in the spine of the team. That's a team that's going to be exciting to follow. Not sure how Bednarek, Stephens or SArmstrong get a look in

Chelsea are the same hot mess as last season then. How many midfielders is too many?
-
Give us a clue. What are the first 8 letters of their name?
-
I predict Everton will still in breach of FFP, Chelsea won't have learned their lesson and Liverpool's 8th choice midfielder won't get a game. Oh, and Burnley will buy another couple of wingers in January.
-
I know that feeling. I've been carrying my faked Achilles injury for nearly 30 years now.
-
I just hope that everyone feels happy now that Burnley are stealing Paintsil from under our noses. That'll teach us for keeping Nathan Tella against his will.
