  1. that tool Saint David... I'd forgotten about him. He was a classic.
  2. And look where SISU have taken Coventry. Lol.
  3. Extra lol.
  4. They're getting quite unhappy :-)
  5. I have Virgin broadband by cable but still pay line rental. You need the line to get the service into your house. Mine is 60mb in Manchester and excellent reliability.
  6. Total mass of contradictions at http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-defender-insists-we-ll-get-it-right-1-4751218 Despite seeing yet another defeat, the Fratton faithful stayed behind their side to the death. They showed their gallows humour by singing 'you're nothing special, we lose every week' to U's fans after they fell behind in 98 seconds. But Sodje admitted it hurt to hear that – and he vowed to give fans something positive to sing about in the coming weeks. He said: 'I want to say to these fans – they are the best fans ever. 'We've not won for 17 games and they stick behind us. 'It is difficult for us at the moment but the fans should stop singing that song about losing every week. 'It is frustrating seeing all the fans sing "you lose every week". It is hard to take.
  7. Glad somebody in the media is waking up. It annoys me the way they generally cosy up to "Harry" on the basis he'll always give them a quote.
  8. Just had a quick look at the fixture list. Portsmouth have 3 consecutive away games: S****horpe, Bournemouth and Hartlepool. If the lose that lot they are definitely bottom.
  9. Lovely jubbly! They could be bottom next week without the minus 10!
  10. Fantastic.
  11. Usual mayhem from the unwashed at http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-court-case-set-to-be-adjourned-for-a-third-time-1-4736101
  12. The News and Neil Allen and his chums have a new tactic. There are now excellent defeats, good defeats, promising defeats etc. I believe it is the case that an excellent defeat means that they have actually won the game in la-la land reality. Interesting to see Portpin confirming yet another court case deferral to the Telegraph whilst the PST and PKF have said nothing again.
  13. I live here also and work at Exchange Quay next to OT. Bangkoksaint is right. There are loads of carparks for £5 in Trafford Park industrial estate. The further away from the ground the easier to find one. My advice is enter Trafford Park from Junction 9 on the M60 and follow signs to OT. You will see guys waving you to car parks. They start at about 15 mins walk from the ground. Avoid the A56 through Sale and Old Trafford.
  14. Excellente. Rubbing my hands in more satisfaction.
  15. I don't. I hope each of them loses their cash for being so bloody stupid handing money over to such an unregulated and non-transparent body. A hard lesson learned is usually an effective lesson learned.
  16. I'd prefer to have my cake and eat it. I want them to go out of business and the PST to be in charge of a phoenix club.
  17. I'm almost in agreement with most of Allen's article.
  18. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/21217797 That must be a record.
  19. Which has of course been ratified by those who have pledged and made clear by the PST!

  21. I intend to invent and patent a device that detects deposits of precious metals from a helicopter height. What is your scheme to get rich or die trying?
  22. Comment From Richard Hi Colin, the remaining parachute payments seem to have bee allocated many times over to football creditors, the CVA, Chinny, Fratton, PKF and as security for a council loan - Wht is your understanding? Colin: I have not seen a recent iteration of the business plan, so can't comment directly. Again though there is always speculation which is not always accurate. Edit: Ahh, beat me to it Trousers. Not an answer though is it to perhaps the most important question that there is...
