Next season's bright young thing.

You may be right but my point is that Lowe doesn't need to attend every match if others are there in his stead as directors (personally I don't think it's a requisite that any of them should be there all the time. They do their work on weekdays IMO).
-
Lowe works two days a week as chairman of the club. Cowan is a full-time appointed MD. Wilde is football chairman and he was there too with Cowan. What is the issue folks? I'm pleased Wilde has intervened to tell us that he was there. I do find it worrying that a couple of posters can state that neither Wilde or Lowe was there and that causes an outbreak of caterwauling from the usual suspects (no names, no packdrill... ha ha) who haven't even considered that the original statements might be wrong anyway.

I'd take the thoughts of SCW over Harry Redknapp at any occasion tbh.

I always think Claridge is quite amusing. He knows where he stands and occasionally makes provocative comments about Saints but they're generally tongue in cheek. There was one game last season where he laughed that he had had to run a bit of a gauntlet of comments to get to SMS to commentate from wherever he had parked up but he took it in good spirit. He just enjoys a bit of banter. I reckon he'd a be a laugh in the pub with anyone's fans.

I reckon this thread might stay open provided nobody gets abusive or silly... It's a fair question in any case of any game. Personally I don't believe directors need to be at games because they do other work at Saints throughout the week.

You're just a graphic design snob Buctootim!!! They have nothing to say yet so that's better than many holding pages!
-
Lol. Perhaps the players should attend bank meetings, set financial strategy and estimate profit and loss forecasts etc.
-
I see no relevance whether they are there or not. They are paid to do non-match things for their salaries. The shares make no difference.
-
All the training pics I have seen seem to show a very animated and involved JP so I think that's true.
-
I know Alps disputed my point about this on Saturday when we supposedly had 32% of possession but that BBC thingy is nonsense, it's just a swingometer for the last few minutes of the played game in effect. I've watched it for ages and that's all it does. Anyway, that's a reasonable result so well played the team and JP.

Usual nonsense from Scooby. At least Sundance seems to have buggered off into the yonder for the moment.

Don't be so hard on yourself Peacey. We're all friends here.

When will you let go of your McMenemy fixation?
-
Well, they'd be fairly crap invaders if they can't launch an attack after 31 years. We would see that lot off no probs.

I was at the Derby play-off at PP and see no reason particularly to hate Derby. A good number of their kids goaded us from the pitch at the end but that's what they were, kids. As I left PP I was impressed by the number of Derby supporters who were clapping us out of the stadium showing their respect for the Saints team and the support we had that night. Like others I am not keen on Billy Davies, he is not there any more, but also dislike plenty of other figures in football. The only thing I have against Derby particularly is that crap away pub (the Navigation??) and the torrential rain that night at PP. To have anything more against Derby is even more childish than me!

I expect that random e had run off from its friends in the word above. You need to discipline your naughty e's.

Excellent. My wholly fabricated press release on behalf of Durban Technology Centre is doing a great job!

Surprised that KD and Killer are the only non-starters from Saturday. And that Wotton gets the nod over Thomas at CB. Surely that means a recall for some of the older guys such as John for Birmingham??

Interesting article on the BBC about getting better MPG froom your driving. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7530652.stm I tend to be a bit half and half, depending on my mood at the time!
-
Fair enough. But to get a better job you normally have to go looking for it in the first place!

I propose two separate forums. Then we can be happily happy or happily otherwise and not have any dissenting discussions.:smt089

Lol. That's amazing timing

67/0 currently and going along nicely. Weather is set fair too. What could go wrong?
