I must be going blind! Anyway I would guess that we still harbour hopes of selling KD to a prem club so he stays out not to get cup-tied. I suppose Thomas might play given that if we sell him it will prob be to another CCC club no longer in the Carling Cup. Same with BWP.

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=10495 Thomas not in squad, nor KD or Rudi. No surprises there then. BWP in the squad but shouldn't think he will be used.

That's not alliterative though.

I had a cat called Emma who had to be put to sleep. She had liver failure and was in a bad way. She just purred at the vets as though she knew what was happening and was saying thank you for a good life!

I believe Pompey have peaked whilst Saints are rising from their nadir. It won't be too long before the normal and natural club roles are resumed!

Comment about Esbjerg on Wiki: The club is known to apply a very attacking style of play, and are generally unwilling to compromise their style of play with their ambitions in the league. This can be seen in their league results, as the club usually is the most scoring team in the league, and as a result of this, also one of the teams that concede the most goals. Should suit Ostlund just fine!

But onions are much cheaper than broccoli by weight...

I like the deals at dabs.com

Why would there be b-itterness JB? You're all very happy not forking up cash, spending your time on b-anter boasting/moaning about it, and then wanting to come on here again... BTW I have a return flight from Manchester to Malaga, 1/9 -8/9, £60 all in... beat that!!

Can't win with you at times Alps.

Get your men playing like these early 1980s guys did JP and you're a winner! PS. Please buy Steve Moran again for us JP!

No question.

Nonsense. Anyone who knows the score is aware that Fulthorpe has put significant amounts of his own energy and cash into putting together a potential consortium.

I fancy a kebab and a fight in Union street DD.

I bought a fruit machine there once from some bloke who had them in his tent. I attempted to get it into the Tauntons common room with an eye on cash. Unsurprisingly my idea was vetoed Still, Branson started somewhere too.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/coca-cola-championship/win-market What I want to know is how often do bookies update their online and offline odds? For example, if Brum put their proper team out on Tuesday and we are 3-0 up at h/t, can I beat the bookies for a promotion bet before they change their odds?

Telegraph... Southampton, a whisker away from dropping into the third tier of English football on the final day of last season, began the new campaign with the goal of consolidating their divisional status after being plunged into debt with no more parachute money at their disposal. But could they just be the season’s surprise package? Don't you love the fickle media?

Fair points. I always thought Perrin was unfairly treated a bit because although he is a journeyman he has had unrated teams punching above their weights quite often. He was linked with Saints too at one time. I think JP is quite secure at the moment as he is Lowe's odd gamble. If he does too well and Saints become marketable again then he may be his own undoing of course!

I think the difference is about attitude. For the last few seasons we have played nodding donkeys after a final payday. These kids look eager to learn and play and it's a breath of fresh air for us long suffering fans (especially ones who recall the Steve Williams, Steve Moran and Danny Wallace homegrown talent. Not forgetting MLT and Shearer of course). It's also really nice to have a manager who is a bit different and not as jaded as many of the others in the game. It looks like we will have a fun season PES.

Perhaps a shame that Baseya was persuaded by his agent to chuck his cards in. Then again, JP might decide to blood Paterson at some point later in the season also. By all accounts he is hot property as a forward.
-
Rupes should buy him a better suit though.
-
I find that difficult to say but his appointment of JP to lead and mentor our young team is looking bloody good currently. I am sure we will will have a few hiccoughs along the way but it's all looking rosy on the pitch right now. And the team can only get better. Am I the only anti-Lowe guy prepared to give credit where it's due?

Looks like Lowe has made a brave and good decision in this instance although circumstances forced it. Much as I like Nigel Pearson I don't think he would have instigated the player revolution.

Michael Svensson is our new Michael Svensson.
