    As was Lawrie Mac.
  3. Well, it seems that part of their five man midfield may comprise Adam Hammill and Jermaine Wright. So you'd think, according to many of the posters who couldn't wait to have a pop last season, that we should have no problem against a midfield containing a fat bloater and a footballing 'tard!
  4. It's good to have so many choices for the positions. What a change from last year. I would rest Killer if he has been feeling it this week. We should be able to beat Blackpool without him and then he can benefit from the two week break before QPR too.
  5. I gave up with some Koontz book a few years back for similar reasons. You can see why they get sold in job lots with other trashy authors in 3 for £5 polythene wrapping. I am currently reading a book about the near collapse of the Roman Empire in the third century. It's called "The Roman Empire - from Severus to Constantine". I had no idea that so many Emperors were assassinated during that period. I thought it would make a good setting for a new series of Bernard Cornwell-esqe books and then saw yesterday that someone had beaten me to it. A new hardback release in ASDA set in that time by some guy called Harry something.
  6. Don't tease Sundance into spending £5 Wes
  7. That's fair enough really when you consider we used to play at all three places each season for one three-day game.
  8. St Kip's in trouble now!

Sounds about right to me. It's already known that we are after one more European player and you'd make the assumption it is somebody Georges Prost will have recommended.
  10. Maybe I do need to widen my horizons a bit Sundance. But I've never met a winner who spreads bile and poison in the way you do either. As far as supposed statesmen go, you and Don Rumsfeld would go nicely hand in hand. And I don't think he will go down as winner, do you?
  11. Bugger off Sundance. Been much nicer without you recently!
  12. Of course it is. Interaction is precisely one of the things Burley didn't do with his players.
  13. I like the quote on the Joys & Sorrows site (page 2) where they think they are losing because we are shoving them around.
  14. I wasn't there and I know Lallana hit the woodwork twice so that makes four at least! Blooming Sky.
  15. Well, they said we were worth the win anyway! I like the bit about Lallana ghosting past Ridgewell for the second goal
  16. Have to say we look like we have a squad that has good competition for places everywhere now with the enthusiasm and skill of youth interspersed with a few stalwarts here and there. Long may the Dutch Revolution continue!
  17. Cracking result. Have you changed your opinion on our chances for the season Robbie?
  18. Heh, cat wee causes electric shorting and startled looking cat!
  19. I'm getting nervous. I hate having no commentary I can find!
  20. Agreed. You can buy something fairly decent such as a Zanussi with good energy rating if you look about for about £200. Fridges just ain't built for repairs or much over five years of service these days.
  21. Wow, Wiki was quick. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom%C3%A1%C5%A1_Pekhart
  22. I doubt repeating a mantra puts Scooby into genius category!
  23. I will continue to play Kevin Tom's Football Manager
  24. And we're cruising at 62-0. What a KP led riot
  25. Under more normal circumstances he'd be welcome but not sure he's the right player under the JP brand.
