I have to say I have little sympathy for them either but it will affect a lot more than just them.

Every time an Anti-Lowe poster posts, a puppy dies

Lol'd at the Newcastle supporters/goons pictured protesting in yesterday's Mirror. They looked so neanderthal! -
What a remarkably bad tempered thread. Could go golden!

Anyone directly affected by this already? I should think we will all get sucked in one way or another with Lehmans owing £300bn to other banks and investors who will now also feel the pinch.

Called Danny Guthrie too! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=1666

I an afraid it was a foregone conclusion with the new Transit factory in Turkey now operational.

Flybe's Dash-8 turbo prop fleet uses about 25% less fuel on a journey than an equivalent short haul jet. If anything, they could expand to take over the routes of other airlines.

A case of how many elephants can you get in a mini, if I ever saw one!

How can the authorities even tell accurately how long a car has been in the country?

Who gives a toss? Pimpley are on the way down again and I'm sure any investor will note the pitfalls.

No Italians to score unless you count Lallana.

Interesting to see if Skacel is back in the fold. He doesn't deserve it but may be his head has been turned.

Nice mff I'd say.

It's the MD-80s that are killing them. They're about 15% more expensive on fuel and upkeep than the modern short haul planes flown by the likes of Ryanair & Easyjet. Their longer haul stuff is ok by comparison. But Air France-KLM have also just pulled out of a merger deal with Alitalia anyway which has nailed the coffin for them with the bankers. Big trouble in little Rome.

Don't understand this funny stuff with his name but Stern John is not world class TT. He has an excellent goal scoring record for T&T and also Saints but don't make out he's good enough to play for a Prem team cos that has been tried without success by John. Like Gregor, he scores for fun at a lower level.

Perhaps we need to widen our perspectives anyway Alps... As you are a SWF character I think it would be fun if you answered the following questions: 1. Should local politicians get involved with Saints? 2. Should the council pay for policing at games? 3. Should taxpayers pay the council/police or should that be the club's responsibility? 4. Should George Burley be in charge of policing or anything else? 5. Does Scooby eat snacks from a man in a cartoon? 6. Does Scooby run away when the going gets tough? 7. Have you scouted any alpine yodellers who might make good footballers yet?

Message to those who don't want to spend a fiver...
TopGun replied to SaintMike's topic in The Lounge
Clearly a ridiculous comment as then we would have the same issues as before. Some people won't pay £5. So they can go to other sites as advertised by the author of this thread. Some like it here now and some don't. What's the issue? If I was in charge of TSW now I'd get rid of the three posts a day for free personally. It would stop the squawking about the issue. You're in or out! If you're out, go find another site. Most of the good posters have paid up anyway. The ******s are elsewhere. -
My ex-wife studied religion at Oxford Uni as a philosophy based course and that is how she teaches it in her career as a secondary school teacher. She is not religious. There is no prob teaching RE in that sense. It just musn't be creationism or faith led as part of the state curriculum but secular and comparative instead (what faith schools of any denomination do appears to be up to them but state funding for any of them should be banned or at least limited IMO). To understand world religions and history and how it affects us all now is fine. Fantastical diatribe about God is nonsense.

Lol, in agreement with swastika quite unusually. b-anter has its niche for people who want to go there, not everyone's cuppa. Unmoderated etc. In support of Baj and Steve I think most people don't realise the expertise and effort that goes into making a site such as TSW work for a wider family of posters. However, each to their own! -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/7614336.stm Alitalia in the poop now though no doubt the Italian government will bail them out as a state airline. Believe me, there's more to come with failed airlines very soon. If I was going on hols I'd be very careful right now about the flight provider involved, forget the cheapie deals unless it is a robust stand alone company such as Easyjet. Steer clear of charter airlines that get involved with package hols unless you have checked them out financially. Last two months have Silverjet, Zoom and XL in administration, all UK based.
