I can't start a new thread as I'm not a registered member, but have been informed by my Pompey supporting friend that speculation on Pompey messageboards suggest that Richard Hughes could be on his way to us for 350k. Although a skate, would be a top midfielder in League 1 and would do a decent job in the Championship imo.

why would the Premier league care about Notts County or Gillingham going under? He clearly means a Premiership team.

Bent is on loan at Boro so doubt it would be him. Would love to see us sign George Boyd from Peterborough but is that just really wishful thinking?

I wouldn't put Lambert ahead of Crouch or Jones to be honest. They are the two best strikers since Beattie.

lambert, exactly what we have been missing for a number of seasons. Goals and assists aplently. Very Beattie esque and the best striker we've had since we sold Jones.

correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure there is no way that Windows 7, let alone Vista would run on a netbook. XP is probably the best you can get for them at the moment.
