  1. Perhaps even use them instead of his hands
  2. I walked past the Chelsea demonstration and listened in for a bit. Had to laugh, they think they have something to complain about. Hold my beer ...
  3. It certainly isn't just Juric, but I don't see him having the skills, nous and wherewithall to rebuild this club in the summer to be able to fight for promotion. Not sure who can and it feels like an impossible task. The painful seasons haven't ended yet I fear.
  4. Agreed. Given that contracts get very very detailed over bonuses, sell on clauses etc, how do you lawyers not write in something in that says ... 'if you are out injured for more that 6 months, your pay drops 50%' or 'if your injured for 12 months, we reserve the right to terminate your contract pay 25% of outstanding amounts' Might sound harsh, but lets not forget these guys are on tens of thousands per week! Surely clubs should get together contracts people together and agree on something like this save being taken to the cleaners by agents. Remeber its the fans that are paying for it. My last employment contract said something like 'if you are off sick for a year, we can terminate you employment on the grounds of ill health'
  5. Is it the players? Is it the manager? Is it the tactics? Is it Sports Republic? I really have no f***king idea idea anymore
  6. I have a season ticket and am a 'lifer', so 'have' to go, but I'm astonished that each home game is a sell out. SR must be laughing their cocks off ... 'no matter how shit we are, they just keep coming and paying'. Probably get 30k per home game next season too. Where's the problem they say?
  7. I've got both coming up. Might start a crowd fund for some vaesline.
  8. So true. We are way way worse than we were the last time we were relegated. This is an average championship team if I'm being generous. The best will leave in the summer and we'll be left with a sub standard championship team. There will be incomings but given SR's success in recruitment you can see how most are fearful for next season.
  9. LOL. Were you at Wembley? Look, we scored the only goal that matters but were second best and I would never say we 'breezed' it.
  10. Absolutely. Closing the the Kingsland to save a few quid seems daft. People in corners when they could just as easily be in padded seats on the half way line. Had a call from hospitality asking if I was interested in £90 seats to look at an empty stand opposite where seats should be a tenner. A half empty stadium in a city centre on a Saturday afternoon, talk about leaving money on the table. They could have got some of our excess players to man the bars. Would Ross Stewart's injuries prevent him from doing that? Surely he has to do some work at some point.
  11. I thought that in Dragan's recent radio interview he confirmed that its an 18 month contract with Juric and he'll be here next season (not that a football chairman's word is worth much of course)
  12. making way for Andy Carroll
  13. We'll get an indication a week Saturday. High flying Championship side vs our best (as it stands today).
  14. Very poor subs. This manager is looking pants. As for Smallbone, all I saw was him jogging about.
  15. You just couldn't make this shit up.
  16. Subs have changed the game. Why oh why do we not learn
  17. Hopefully smallbone coming off
  18. Can't believe we've put Smallbone on. A one legged Downes would be better
  19. We didn't exactly tear it up last season. 4th, never really threatened the automatics and were arguably second best in the final. With the expected departures, I don't see an easy run next season. We are so easily the next Stoke, WBA, Norwich et al.

    Ivan Juric

Is it me or does that picture make him look like a Vatican employee with something to hide?
  21. Just seen the highlights with that 90th minute foul again. Unbelievable that it wasn't given. Was outside the box though.
  22. Most enjoyable game of the season. Good to see excitment back at St Mary's. Sure we were pants at times and some poor individual moments and sub par performances, but I saw some spirit and belief. There's now Russ scar tissue to deal with, a few times the players looked as though they wanted to go forward or be more positive and little Russ on their shoulder dragged them back. Still don't see a way to stay up, but be good to get some real football and excitment back at St Mary's. Tall Paul - want to love him so much and he has great moments, but need to see some finishing. BBD - what were our scouts smoking?
  23. He must be starting to think about selling up and moving on. Its now evident to him that he and SR aren't very good at running a club. It must have cost them money and it seems headache at every turn. What are they getting out of it? Though I struggle to see the ownership value of any team like the Saints. Profit and silverware nigh on impossible, relegation, financial loss and fan hate always a few results away. Its a no win situation. Just to survive you need to be pretty good at at it. SR are clearly below standard, t so I don't see what Dragan's long term goal is ... unless its the handshakes and networking with other chairmen and owners which opens up business deals for him.
  24. My guess is that your ideal Saturday afternoon involves a dungeon, dominatrix and a strap-on. 😂 (Bit like being at St Mary's these days, except we don't enjoy it)
