FA Cup 5th Round match today at Ipswich ko 2pm

Saints have withdrawn from the Hampshire Senior Cup Final v Pompey because of fixture congestion. We were not allowed to play our Development squad. Bigger fish to fry.

Saints Women's Developmental Squad are also top of their league and beat Huddersfield Town 3-1 away yesterday to reach the final of their knock out cup. They play Wolves. TBA. Talent pipeline is open and flowing!

They have quite a big squad of reliable players . They also have a daunting fixture list though. Their development team is top of their league as well.

The final is a North v South job. If we beat Crawley the final will be against Liverpool Feds or Huddersfield T /Brighouse

Won again 1-0 today in League Cup. Play Crawley in the semis.

Pompey gave us a helping hand this week...

Hope Saints Women get the support they deserve. They are largely local and Saints fans themselves. They are also a very watchable team.

The coverage that is given to our women is woeful. Especially considering they are our only team that wins on a regular basis.

Interesting to watch this team developing quickly. They deserve more support.

Shame about today. Set up too defensively in the first half and let Ipswich settle too easily. Never got going. Must be a bit weird for Saints chewing on a defeat after so long. A long way to go yet but Ipswich seemed stronger and more robust than us. They are going to be a major obstacle to our promotion bid this season. Rafferty is class and I thought she was going to deck someone at the end.
