Why on Earth did Wolves start on just 4? Ridiculously low number to start on given how well sales have been going. Hardly any left already. Gonna be some angry people who have missed out I think.

Certain points of the season = 30th April onwards

City selling really well after going on sale yesterday. Bottom tier all gone and only a couple left in middle tier. Surprised by that really even with our increasing numbers. Wonder how many 'spares' will suddenly become available...

I wonder if the club plan on stewarding the Northam stand at all? Plenty of people moving to stand with mates and cram into one 'seat'. I moved at half time on Saturday and found it easy to find an empty space but in the new area there was people openly smoking cigarettes and sniffing cocaine. I would have thought one of the requirements of the license for safe standing would be that it's properly stewarded to ensure it's only one person per space so seems strange the club aren't doing this. Also extremely weird how there's people who've bought tickets in a standing area to sit down most of the game.

That's the spirit

Agree with all of that but your original post did seem to speculate beyond that unless I'm misunderstanding. "We’re 2 shit passes and a terrible penalty away from having a reasonable start to the season."
-
It's a fact that we wouldn't have lost to United had the penalty gone in?
-
Sounded dreadful last night on the TV. Everton fans were basically silent but could barely hear ours either. Not sure if that's how it was in the ground of course but it sounded like a pre season match. Credit to everyone who travelled up there for a midweek game mind.
-
The rails they've added are utterly horrendous, it's far less comfortable than standing in the old seating areas were. For all the song and dance they made about doing it they've done such a half arsed and cheapskate job.
-
That most expensive adult ticket is wrong I'm pretty sure?
-
Definitely a typo. A colleague of mine got one yesterday on 8 with 6 from last season.
-
Perhaps I'm misremembering. I thought we largely stuck with it for the rest of the season.
-
Apart from the half a season which led to our highest league finish in 30 years?
-
Bournemouth sold out on second window as expected. How was our support on Saturday? Sounded decent through the screen until the 2nd and 3rd goals.
-
United have us in their next two games so not very likely!
-
Did I imagine it or was there some version of allez allez allez that a small group started singing just before HT? 🤑
-
It's almost as if the away fans location wasn't the reason for our poor atmospheres...
-
Yeah I thought that too, especially pre game. Took me fucking ages to get from the bottom of the footbridge to the other end of the Northam. Poorly thought through.
-
About a standard St Marys atmosphere imo. Started well but trailed off after about ten minutes when most people start looking at their phones instead and/or get bored of the umpteenth rendition of OWTS.
-
Fair enough, I assume you're not local? Can see how it makes a big difference in that case. Not sure I agree with your last paragraph. Every seat has been assigned to a customer number for over a decade hasn't it? So that's long been an option of seeing which customer number is passing on/purchasing a ticket for away fans.
-
Luckily I only have one friend so this isn't a problem for me 🙂 Re the fuck about trying to find time to meet though you could say it'd be a good excuse for some social interaction. Of course theres the added benefit of Saints not knowing how many times a ticket is being passed on (as I'm sure they'll add a limit on that eventually). As far as they're concerned I'll attend 19 home games this season.
-
I'll just give my pal a card if they want my ticket for the day. Laughable that they market it is being easier than ever. What could be easier than passing on a physical item?
-
Anyone driving to this from Soton and interested in a paying passenger?
-
Really looking forward to this. Will be great to see the away fans stood in silence now they've been moved to the corner.
-
Only heard it once and only around 50-100 joined in which is a huge improvement.
