The Be'er Sheva goal is a great shout, I'd say that's number two on my list. Agreed the Norris one doesn't rank that highly for me. Was over it quite quickly considering it was the skates. The second United goal in 2005 hit teenage me pretty hard. Wasn't as cynical about Saints back then and thought we had a great chance of winning until then.

Has to be Ibrahimovic at Wembley.

Haven't they binned off kids prices for the league too? £66 or something stupid regardless of the age.
-
I remember the club were slow to cotton on even after the price cap too and took smaller allocations still for a couple of games. On the price cap I'm pretty sure it's up for review this Summer and there's a lot of whispers that some London clubs are pushing to bin it. Won't affect us next season though obviously.

Haha I like that to pick aisle seats for similar reasons. Even if I do stay to the end it's not like the team have deserved any applause at most away games this season. I'm a bit surprised at how many went today too. With the later KO and being on TV I thought a lot of people might swerve it. Hopefully they'll open the other blocks tomorrow.
-
Chelsea on sale today. Really dislike this thing about leaving entire blocks unavailable for the early sales and which are often some of the best seats. I understand why they do it as presumably those are the blocks which we can give back but it's frustrating as we're bound to sell this out so seems a bit pointless. I want upper tier as close to the goal as possible so gonna wait a couple of days I think.

Not even just about the money but these games should be about attracting future fans given how unaffordable football is for many these days. Would cost £70 for a family of four who aren't members to attend this. That's obscene for an early round cup tie against frankly dull opposition.

Absurd from the club.
-
When was our last crowd that low? I seem to remember a Norwich replay with about 13k
-
Well I did say it would only be worthwhile if there's a sizeable amount doing it. Towards the end of the Stoke cup game there was 30-50 people stood up towards the back of block 21 so I think there could be some interest in it.
-
Anyone else considering moving to block 20/21 next season? I'm giving it some real thought but won't be worthwhile unless there's a sizeable amount doing so.
-
Yeah I plan on driving for that reason.
-
Yeah I am a bit too. Will be interesting to see how Chelsea goes as a London game albeit midweek. Not too bothered though as keeps me near/at the top of criteria, be shit for others if we don't get a full allocation at Goodison though.
-
3 away games in a row made general sale. Reduced allocations coming soon I suspect.
-
All that being said, I've not been particularly impressed by any home supports this season at away games so I don't think it's just an us problem. Top flight atmospheres have been getting steadily worse for years now and are at an all time low. Wolves probably the best if games I've been to.
-
Largely been disappointing in my view. Said before on here that it's full of atmosphere tourists; people who want to be in an atmospheric area but do very little to actually contribute to it. From what I can tell the front third of the stand doesn't really contribute much, probably two thirds on the old away end side. Loads of people spend most of the game after ten minutes playing games/checking bets on their phones. There's even a sizeable amount of people who spend chunks of the match sat down! It can be loud when it gets going but that's rare and generally different parts are singing different songs at the same time. For example the left side will start a rendition of 'oh Southampton we love you' and sing two rounds of it. On the second round the middle will join in and start their two rounds, the latter of which the right side will join in who then sing their second round on their own. Our lack of songs and inability to maintain them means most songs just fizzle out and it's not really an 'end' at all. The best it's been all season is probably the second half against Spuds which says it all.

Can't see Brum not coming up unfortunately. I'd like Wrexham and Wycombe to come with them. Both would be great grounds to tick off.
-
Can we end this experiment now and stop pretending he's any good? Dreadful player.
-
Aribo is barely a footballer in all honesty. Embarrassing performance from him yesterday.
-
I use this forum for all my Saints news. Anyone know how we got on yesterday?

Late notice but my pal has just told me he can't go so have a spare for this if anyone's interested. Can meet outside the ground. Drop a PM

I normally park in Croydon and then jump on a train at East Croydon. Plenty of pubs round there and won't all be rammed.
-
Surely anybody with eyes and has even a vague understanding of the game has been able to see we've looked unfit most of the season? It was obvious from as early as Ipswich.
-
Fingers crossed. Last thing we need is numbers to drop leading to the club taking only the lower tier at Everton which is bound to be incredibly popular.
-
Surprised Forest went to general sale, thought that would be quite a popular one. Good opportunity for those lower down the ladder though. Does make me nervous that we might start taking smaller allocations though.
