  1. Sounds like a blessing.
  2. Settled well after a shaky start. Just utterly toothless as we all have become used to.
  3. Why on earth would he have come here? Deluded much.
  4. Their support was pathetic I thought given how big a game this was for them. Loud as fuck as teams came out and up to about 10 minutes in but dropped off hugely and sounded like an average league game. Hundreds left early too which I thought was strange to say the least.
  5. Nice to see some sensible Geordies come on and make up for their fruitcakes, all clubs have them including us but nice to have a reminder that most of them are sound. Pub wise I knew there was loads to drink in from last visit but as a lone traveller was wondering where the majority were gathering for a good old sing song pre match. Really looking forward to this. Not expecting anything but quietly hopeful. As long as we give a good account of ourselves then I think we can't have too many complaints COYR!!
  6. Not sure Milan is a fair comparison. That was at one of the most famous stadiums in the world and our first opportunity to visit there as well as our last. Once in a lifetime stuff and people knew it. Also had a couple of months to plan it. Newcastle doesn't fit into that category at all and has also come just after Christmas in a period where loads of people are skint. I think 2800 is a fantastic effort for us personally and I thought it'd be slightly less. Bearing in mind we rarely take that many North of Brum for Saturday matches not on TV.
  7. Where's everyone drinking for this? Is there specific away pubs does anybody know?
  8. The Saudis are cunts, and so are you The Saudis are cunts, and so are you The Saudis are cunts, and so are you
  9. Not sure I agree that there's total apathy about it from our end. Everyone I've spoken to is absolutely buzzing for it. The fact we've sold well over 2k tickets for a match 320 miles away on a Tuesday night in January demonstrates that there is no lack of enthusiasm for this tie .
  10. Hopefully Jones and the players are aware of it as surely brings extra motivation. I think it suits us for them to be so confident tbh as an underdog. Close game tonight and they'll be under huge pressure next week in front of an expectant support. May go in our favour if we can frustrate them.
  11. Thanks for the nice words mate but it's not 'tripe' at all that many Newcastle fans are booking hotels and planning Wembley meet ups. Only need to look round a few forums to see that there's definitely a section of your support planning cup final day. Let's hope it's a good tie anyway with whoever the winner is also winning the final.
  12. It's a tricky one but when you factor in the light shows then I'm going to have to say Saints fan.
  13. How did you manage to count? Not all blocks are on sale are they?
  14. Yeah I know. That's why they (and city) were given the standard league allocation (as it's equal to the 10%) and not the whole northam like we've started doing for the FA Cup in recent years.
  15. Newcastle only got given the standard league allocation. Judging by comments above and links to one of their forums I'd guess they've bought up loads today in home ends.
  16. Any idea how many we've sold for this? Frustrating that I was told yesterday afternoon I need to collect as it hardly leaves much time to. Looking forward to it though. Should be a good crack and hopefully an entertaining game.
  17. Was having a read this morning of the reccomendations released by the review of football and it struck me that we're a bit of rarity in football in that we don't have any independent group to represent the supporters. It seems especially odd given the instability we've had since the turn of the century, has there ever been anything attempted? Unless I'm missing something of course but a quick Google brought up nothing but the Saints voice panel which is part of the club itself. Interested to hear people's thoughts on why we're so different to the majority of English clubs? And given the potential changes coming which may grant these groups additional power are we at risk of missing out?
  18. First trip to Carrow Road and hoping for a comfortable win (yeah right). For those who have been before can you recommend any decent parking spots for a quick getaway? Don't mind a bit of a walk.
