Yes, travelling up on my own as well. So if there is a pub where most will be, that'll be a good place to start.....

For anyone going up or who has done the trip before - what is the best away pub? It'll be my first trip to SJP.

I’ve got mine too. First trip to SJP but combining it with work so train up and a couple of nights stay to avoid the strikes.

I wanted to give them a chance to show that they’d learned something over the World Cup break. Fuck me that was dreadful from minute 1 until I eventually gave up to drive home at 70 mins - just couldn’t take any more. Our “team” are utter shite from the bottom to the top. No midfield presence, lone striker who needs a partner further forward to play with, a young keeper who is getting his confidence shattered every time he steps on the pitch, a manager who has miraculously jumped 2 leagues and landed a job that he is ill prepared for. Semmens came round the Halo and said we apparently have the easiest next 10 games on paper of all the clubs, doubt he revisited after the game. Shambles.

Hopefully it was Jones proving to himself that it doesn’t work and to never play it again?

Being a fellow Welshy I want to give him a chance and be pleasantly surprised, but I also admit to being somewhat concerned about what he will bring to the club from Luton and how he will influence the players. Can't see Che magically finding his scoring boots now Ralph has gone (prove me wrong Che!)

Lyanco was outstanding throughout. The second half was brilliant and I have no voice left. Was beautiful to see the Arsenal fans go quiet when we started breaking them up.

We are so sloppy in possession and seem desperate to let them back into the game. Feels inevitable now.

I miss seeing the pressing game of earlier this year. Yes we got undone a few times, but we really managed to bully teams (particularly those around us) and even now, when we do press, we make opposition make mistakes. That press lead to goals.

Working out alright for driving down - means I get to stay over so my mrs doesn't get to see me steaming when I get home. But trains are screwed for all of the home games in October from what I've - not sure what's happening between Eastleigh and Southampton Central but it's buses for all of the Sunday games.

Not fully confirmed at PL are meeting at 11am to discuss but just had some breaking news through on my phone to say the government have said that games can go ahead.

Looks like the weekend games will be going ahead.
