The Charlton feed on Saintsplayer is ok, but the Southampton one is rubbish as usual.
-
Wow - there is so much of this rubbish on youtube.. This one has a couple of weird clips though (2:15) - (plus what must be a fake recording of Discovery Shuttle mission talking about an alien spacecraft lol!) Anyone seen this NASA Thether clip before:

If we don't win this then Pardew will deserve all the criticism that comes his way.
-
This result was utter garbage, but the writing was on the wall after the Exeter game in Feb. That match showed the team didn't have the stomach for it.
-
Didn't hear any booing from where I was in block 121. Great match. Great result!
-
That was just outstanding! Fantastic!!!
-
I agree. What is more annoying is that if you switch over to the opposition commentary (Walsall in this case), it is usually perfect with no signal drop-outs.

Has everyone already seen this?... http://www.rantaboutfootball.com/blog/2010/02/i-shouldnt-laugh-but/ You have to click on the eBay image at the bottom to see it full size.

I'm not opposed to this if it keeps them going to the end of the season, but it should go hand in hand with a substantial points deduction and an automatic win for Birmingham in the cup as they have only amassed the points they have and their progress in the cup with players they could not afford.

I saw that, also saw that Vantis are not exactly adverse to a bit of a tax scam themselves every now and then: http://www.accountancyage.com/accountancyage/news/2250997/vantis-execs-charged-219m

Probably a silly question, but what is to stop them from producing a statement for the court that fudges some of the numbers so that it shows that they are solvent? What sort of checks can the court / HMRC carry out?

So who's travelling the furthest for the Pompey game?

One from East London here -
Not being funny but why would he spend $156,330 on clothes and jewellery for her when she goes around in a niqab?

I think we can kiss playoffs goodbye now. Far too much ground to make up, we are bad form and we have struggled to win away in league matches all season. Not going to comment on the match as I didn't go, but it sounded absolutely dreadful.
-
I agree it should be settled - I'd also like to hear the club's view. The Echo's website coverage of Saints so far this season has been much better quality than usual I think - a refreshing change and long may it continue.
-
Yep: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Management/0,,10280~1725217,00.html "The 48-year old Londoner signed a three season deal keeping his at St. Mary's until the conclusion of the 2011/12 season."
-
No it just illustrates (once again) that Portsmouth don't have many fans.
-
I see what you mean but a better ref could have dealt with that match without showing 6 yellow cards and one red.
-
I hope so. Apparently the total cost of the bail-out so far is £850 billion. This wipes out the tax contributions the banks made to the treasury during the boom years and then some. It has been argued that the UK literally can't afford the risk of having this happen again so if a lot of bankers do move abroad it will actually be good for the country (and less good for the countries they go to).
-
Haven't read all this thread, but is this the player who Pardew said was "having a bad time"?
-
All Brown has done is place a pretty paltry (in comparison to Obama) 50p tax on bank bonuses of more than 25k. He is a scaredy-cat.

This has probably already been posted, but some nice words from Wenger here: http://www.tribalfootball.com/arsenal-boss-wenger-unimpressed-portsmouth-problems-541281

Watford (and other clubs) are also a bit foolish in selling players to Portsmouth, knowing full well the financial difficulties they are in and the likelihood of not meeting agreed payments. If I was in need of money I wouldn't sell assets (with long re-payment schedules) to an organisation teetering on administration. I won't be wishing Portsmouth luck until they are well and truly below us, but I hope they survive.

"washed" is the operative word.
