Best solution for me is Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs,Liverpool and Newcastle all fuck off and set up some European Super League. They can then take the obscene TV money with them and level off the playing field for the rest of us. And no need for relegation for us to get ‘better’ matchdays.

I think there is a bit of a romantic view of those lower league days and I think it's clouded by the good memories of the last two seasons before promotion back up to the PL. I really enjoyed 2010-2012 but there was a lot of shit before. I'd only been going regularly for just over 2 seasons before I experienced relegation for the first time, that was shit too, but also gave me (like 2010-2012) some of my best days supporting this club. FA Cup win and European football in 2 years as a second division club and then promotion back up 2 years after that. They're the bits I chose to remember but if I think a back a bit harder I can remember some real crap days out at the football. Losing more often than not in the lower leagues is probably a more dire experience than in the PL.

I didn't know they had a store in the Marlands shopping centre until walking through last weekend - in the old Disney store and quite a bit larger than the previous West Quay one. Probably been there for some time!

657? TCWTB? Pah, we've got bigger fish to fry with Lincoln's 617 squadron rolling into town in a couple of weeks (used to be the 'Transit' mob back in the day!) - looks like they've got ACWAD
-
Of course, you're both probably correct.
-
Probably. But different story on the trains.
-
They'll probably be something like 10,000 rival fans travelling up together...what could go wrong....?

Guffaw. After Sheff Wed and Derby and Ipswich and Bolton and Plymouth and..........

I'm sure we're all feeling buzzed for Maya, decent squad player for us, always 100% commitment. Yoshida and Oriol Romeu, two classy fellas to have played at this club in recent years.

I've been flicking between these games, atmosphere at both on a different level to games with European sides, even the Saudis make a racket. If we end up playing the Argies we may struggle to know England fans are there. Fantastic numbers and noise.

Form a nice orderly queue at the door... https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2022-11-30/retail-store-reopen-southampton-football-club-2022-23

So much for saving the planet…..

Well, the last time us, skates, spurs and palace we’re all involved together in FA Cup games in the capital we had shenanigans in Covent Garden, a thumping 3-nil victory in front of 7,000+ travelling fans and if I remember correctly the skates went home with their tails between their legs.

The locals probably don't. When you consider only around 25% of Brussels' population are Belgian, the rest non-european/African then you may have your answer

On the OS. Racist.

I see we were years ahead of our time with the roof design for the proposed stadium at Stoneham Al Bayt Stadium

Clearly a bunch of Arabic casuals behind him

What is the best goal you've ever seen live at a Saints game?

Deserves a mention for the audacity of scoring against Man City Edit: Not live at the ground of course! McCarthy done good that day. -
Ee ba gum they do and as I'm not liking an element of their badge, c'mon Göztepe

For significance as well as a decent strike… -

Yep, that was the first season I really got into it, unfortunately I wasn't at that game but I think it may have won goal-of-the-season. Fortunately I was there the 'Channon, Keegan, Channon.....' wonder goal against the scallies, my personal favourite. And also there to see others mentioned like Moran 84 and Danny Wallace on the first Friday night live game on the BBC. -
That's good to hear, more about the apathy and 'passive' nature of our support for several seasons. We already need to rekindle the old 'Great Escape' mentality from the restart onwards.
