Couldn't see the original but looked like 2 or 3 similar grey versions of the Markus Liebherr banner on there.
-
We may see the the big Markus Liebherr flag get an airing, last time out must have been Wembley in the cup final.

Indeed, Ings name will be the first on the team sheet at least until we're clearly safe. He's fit, in form and hungry - he sounds like he can't wait for the next match to come along. He'll probably run himself into the ground over the next few weeks securing needed points but he doesn't need rest right now.
-
For the authentic experience it should be on constant repeat. So that's the 'crowd noise' definitely switched off for me then.

Norwich 0 - Saints 3....We are back.

Harsh. Poor for 10 mins, bit rusty for a bit, then in almost total control for the next 70-75 mins. Pleasing performance overall. -
As you mention, it would be strange and limiting if they just reversed it. Of course we've had an away shirt with the sash in recent years in green and navy, easy enough to come up with a contrasting combination.
-
Yep, not a bad looking shirt but would be ruined with a (particularly ours) sponsor's logo splashed across the front.
-
Possibly not. But whoever he borrowed it off probably wants it back, with interest.
-
This could very well just be an easy story to run, chucking a few bits together to make a headline, but it's also probably not too far from the truth. We've got a chairman who wants out and his money back, the game in crisis and a club with millions tied up in duds that will likely need to be written off. Great material for column inches.

My best memories of going to football are mostly stuck in the 70s/80s but tbf, this one's up there with drama (crazy it's already way back in the 2011/12 season) [video=youtube;8q2TrK-u-qY]

Good value if it's a 1 litre bottle...oh......

Great sports shop in Totton for many years - real ale bar these days.

Hoedt, Forster, Elyounoussi, Carrillo, Lemina, that's some serious wedge tied up with that little crowd. Vestergaard and Che Adams (hopefully he'll improve if given the opportunity) will add to the financial haemorrhage if it's decided to discard with their services.

Wonder how many naughty scallies will turn up for the game that clinches the title....and knowing they’ll be no victory parade?

Too late, kit would have gone into production some time ago and probably already here in storage. And a chance to raise a bit of revenue in lean times.

There may well have been others but the ‘Dockers Gate’ I’d heard of was certainly under the East. And remember well the Millwall incident, we were watching from the Archers terrace, one of the Millwall flashed a blade around but never heard of anyone being stabbed or slashed, but they backed out before the OB got involved.
-
My old man was a docker and some of his dockie mates were stewards (there was a special 'dockers gate' at the Dell). They said they were overwhelmed with the numbers outside, some were already getting in by 'other' means with the gates open that's why the official attendance was recorded as under 30,000 clicks on the turnstiles. Everyone was in buoyant mood and happy to let kids (and others) go through 2 at a time (although not particularly unusual) but it was getting obvious the ground was over-full before the cut-off figure was reached. And then of course, many more got in as the game went on.
-
We joined a long queue for ‘under the West’ at around lunchtime. The gates were locked long before kick-off with thousands locked outside, loads still got in by being inventive. Then many more once they opened the gates like they always did, 10-15 mins before the final whistle but nobody left, just thousands more piled in.

Andrew Marr interviewed Steve Parish earlier about the PL restarting, he’s realistic weighing up the financial implications to clubs against health. They also mentioned Agüero’s comments that a number of players are reluctant and “scared” to play, this is going to have a significant effect on sides if it goes ahead. You could have previously good sides brought down to ‘our’ level if there’s players not wanting to get close or ‘going in’ half-hearted. In an ideal world, imagine if half the Liverpool squad weren’t really up for this and ended up blowing it from here, the scallies would go into meltdown blaming all and sundry!

Bundesliga: Dynamo Dresden's entire squad in isolation just a week before restart It will be interesting to see how this now develops during the week, if the same occurs a few weeks in it could cause even more problems. And there's always the possibility that if the final few fixtures and results aren't going their way, some more unscrupulous clubs could suddenly start 'showing symptons' somewhere among the 300 present on a matchday and need to isolate the squad and throw a bit of chaos into the mix. But I am a cynical old git.

He was certainly not the only one but he stood on his own, reasonably restrained most of the time but would suddenly burst into a mouth-frothing tirade

Back very early 70s, there was some old geezer on the Milton terracing who liked a bit of loud industrial language who was affectionately known as ‘The Vicar’

Doesn't count, one big happy family all living together.
