Wolves announced theirs last week, all prem tie at £15 ST holders, £18 everyone else.
-
I thought he looked more like Kurtan from This Country. Probably about as hard tbf.
-
Point would be acceptable. Yam Yams 2 v Scummers 2

Not as gutted as us...sounds like you're our new lucky charm! Worth putting it on the match thread on the main board where more would likely see it.
-
Worth noting, Saints took an initial allocation of 2,730 tickets for this which sold out - if anyone missed out they put an extra 150 (or so) on sale this morning so just under 3,000 making the trip.
-
This sold out but looks like the club have taken a further allocation - a block of 150 seats have gone on sale this morning.
-
We usually see fans begging for tickets once they're all sold out, better a get a move on if wanting these, only around a couple of dozen left of the 2,730 allocation. https://tickets.southamptonfc.com/selection/event/seat?perfId=101570501530&ot=0>mStepTracking=true&_ga=2.70935443.204576083.1641902113-2015501602.1641902113

If we win the toss, probably best to kick towards the Northam second half.

Agree, I wouldn't have thought they'd have too much trouble selling a full cup allocation, particularly if cheap tickets that should attract a 20k+ attendance. I can remember games back at the Dell with them when there was barely a Coventry fan in the ground! Triggering the memory, brings back 2 home games early 80s with them, both with 10 goals. 5-5 midweek (during the Falklands war - think the Belgrano had just been sunk!) and drubbing them 8-2 soon after.
-
It’s fairly pointless giving Caballero an extended contract and then not playing him in these type of games. He needs game time to keep sharp (particularly at his age) if called upon at short notice.

http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2022/01/06/transfer-news-southampton-consider-re-signing-gareth-bale/ Wonder if he's willing to drop his £500,000 per week Real Madrid salary? Well, we did re-sign Theo Walcott..................................

I certainly did, in my early 20s back then, my mates and myself were doing a lot of away trips in those days - toughest one on that cup run was getting up at stupid-o'clock for the Sunday trip up to Sheffield (with another 10,000 Saints fans) after heavy Saturday night. Still stuck at the Hockley lights an hour after leaving Southampton! That Orient trip mentioned was another good day out (gets a mention in one of the West Ham books after they had a pop at a near empty away terrace but claimed it as some kind of scalp!) - we had about 5,000 there (later) that day.
-
Can't recall the fish, can only remember someone swinging a big one around at Hillsborough in the quarter final. Not necessarily my favourite 3rd round but was a good day out - from the police on horseback pushing in the doorway of the Trent Bridge pub as things were beginning to get a bit rowdy and then realising this mob were making their way to the Trent End (flashback to 1977!) But certainly my favourite FA Cup run (until the semi), all away, did everyone. Blackburn on a Friday night live on TV was enjoyable. And, of course, you can't mention 1984 without....

Ah...Serbian you say...anyone still got that statue of Milan Mandarić?
-
Yep, real tough - it takes something real special to break into the professional game and to have it snatched away must be devastating. There was a very good player in Sam, hopefully opens doors for him in a different part of the game.

I can't really see how you got that from what I put, I certainly wasn't implying or misleading that he came in just to save us. I said he took over when Bally fooked off - most of an age will be well aware before the start of that season. I was a fan of Alan Ball (player and manager) and a fan of Dave Merrington.
-
After the way Askham et al shabbily treated him, booting him out after over a decade of service to SFC, he would have been fully justified in being bitter towards this football club. He was doing a fantastic job with the youth, Le Tissier, Shearer, and so many more, a job he loved but was convinced to take over when Alan Ball slipped off to City. He kept us up on the last day of the season - his wife was seriously ill at the time but he still turned up at the Dell to guide us to safety while Bally's side were being relegated. Then they sacked him. Top man, incredible loyalty to SFC despite being a proud Geordie - richly deserves the recognition and appreciation. Cheers Dave and, finally, well done SFC.

Tbf, the comments following the article are reasonable, more concern for fans travelling to the other end of the country left in limbo. Reminds me of a Newcastle v Saints game way back when it was called off at the last minute despite it snowing heavily that weekend. They delayed a decision to the last minute as it was live on SKY that Sunday afternoon. I remember the local OB made a statement that around 800 Southampton fans had already arrived in the city with more on their way but they were completely disregarded. Most having to immediately turn round after a near 350 mile road trip and do the same back in bleak weather.

If they pick up any more injuries from the Everton game then they could well try it on. If that scenario materialised I doubt they'd list any first-teamers as positive, rather back-up players that deplete the squad in case the authorities call their bluff, order them to play and then lose more key players.
-
Yep, Gao's fookin' desperate now if that's the case. Bargain.

Pinch of salt and all that (and was posted just after the pubs kicked out) but... https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/forum/280254/premier-league-approve-saints-takeover/#8

Sold out weeks ago but I'd have thought there'd be a few knocking about now after the crap of recent games and the ballsache it has now become to go to a football match.
-
Nice idea but far too expensive a conversion for St Mary's. The ones near KIng's Cross (probably the ones you've shown) are listed buildings and starting prices are just under a £million - over £7million for the penthouse! Our market for this development is slightly more down market. *Just noticed you did mention KIng's Cross
