  1. You have to presume they would, they'd have to wouldn't they? And while those poor suffering souls (only in Liverpool of course) are queuing at the food bank, their heroes are picking up £hundreds of thousands a week for...playing football...a part-time job with great holidays thrown in. They must really hate them.
  2. That would be a very nice kit - switch back to dark blue shorts and you'd be onto a winner there, imo.
  3. We'll never score that many Classic case of everyone wanting the ball when you're winning, no-one wants it when, you know, like us for the past two months.
  4. It’s a white shirt with a broad red stripe. I’m no shirt-wearer but would look fine IMO. I can imagine it would prove very popular and sell well (if we haven’t turned too many off over the past 2 months!). If like djharvey’s pic, a nice variation on boring stripes.
  5. He could do the halftime ice creams
  6. St Mary’s chosen to host the final https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2022-05-10/under-18-premier-league-national-final-details-southampton-fc-vs-manchester-city-2021-22
  7. CL final at the Stade de France, capacity 81,000. They’ve given the 2 finalists 19,500 tickets each, what a joke...oh, hang on, it’s Liverpool, carry on.
  8. Described as "Ecru" when unveiled - back in the day when kits changed every 2 seasons but this was a (unnecessary) third kit shoehorned in for one season.
  9. It's hard (and understandable) to feel positive about getting a result in any fixture right now and I fear Rasmus Ankersen may be squirming in his seat at the weekend. Just 270 more minutes to endure, then we can all knock it on the head for a few months.
  10. You've just kinda described TCWTB
  11. Atletico Madrid's red and white stripes are.....interesting............. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2021/05/atletico-madrid-22-23-home-kit-leaked.html ...or am I pissed?
  12. 0-6 last time out, another heavy defeat predicted by some this weekend, hasn't stopped it selling out. Surely there has to be a reaction to last week.......
  13. Arteta after yesterday's defeat: "We didn’t show enough purpose, speed, momentum, we didn’t generate anything that we wanted to do....please let our next match be against Southampton.......please let our next match be against Southampton.......please let our next match be against Southampton..."
  14. Carragher on SKY after the last time we won a PL game in February... "The 2-0 scoreline doesn't do Southampton justice. They are in a rich vein of form at this moment in time and they should enjoy it. They'll be thinking they can have a really big end to the season. They are just in the top half now, four points behind Tottenham. Southampton will be looking up and not behind them" What went so badly wrong? Again.
  15. “Runaround...NAAAAAHH!!”
  16. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/20048150.matt-le-tissier-steps-saints-ambassador-ukraine-tweets/ Just realised this is old news, just popped up on DE
  17. *and Davie Peach shouldn't be left out here.
  18. Now that’s a shocker, only 50 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-60884259 Lucky to have seen the Foos live
  19. *excludes anyone millions of miles away **applies to those who frequent EVERY match day thread (whether home or away and could attend) but/and slag us off 🥴
  20. Why don't you gobby twats actually go to a game?
  21. I thought he was bluffing before the West Ham tie and seriously thought he'd go strong and was as shocked as everyone with the starting 11....OK it surprisingly worked that time. But...surely...against City you can't fook around? Having said that, I think we will go mostly strong but can see him bunging in Caballero, benching Broja and going with Adam Armstrong (must have been holding him back last weekend if he couldn't get off the bench in front of Longy).
  22. It would be interesting to see how Chelsea's 'Away Season Ticket' works, presumably the club take £570 off fans at the start of the season to cover all away trips? But still can't really see how they can provide tickets for any of their future away fixtures, surely they still need to pay for them from hosting clubs as games come up before sending out to fans - how can they make that transaction if currently banned from doing so?
  23. What a wonderful opportunity for the commentators to bring up that little known fact, has it ever been mentioned before?
  24. They should ask if they could switch the tie to London, only fair, don't they know how far it is to Middlesbrough?
