  1. Before he joined Rangers he was a carpet fitters mate, you would always hear his boss shouting “Aribo! Aribo! Underlay! Underlay!”
  2. Yeah agree, thought the red with white central stripe was a good effort too
  3. I don't seem to have any lucky posting images but looks like someone was darn close on here https://www.sotonians.com/t/new-kit-22-23/6493 back in May And a nice reverse option in there too This new offering is perfectly fine with me, we can revert back to stripes next time with 'traditional' dark blue shorts, thank you.
  4. As one of the main features on the OS is still bigging up the 'End of Season Sale' I'd imagine they've still got a lot of last year's kits to shift first...
  5. I've just had a look over on the UI for any gossip we may have missed and saw this little gem https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/forum/286612/page:2 They've got a resident skate dinlo camped on there who posted this earlier https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/opinion/portsmouth-v-southampton-where-best-place-live-998521 Some may remember Simon Carter who worked on the DE for a few years who moved up from Exeter. He then moved on to their local rag and done the usual bollox to get onside with portsea island's other dinlos. Basically he's bigging them up against Southampton after claiming to have lived here for a number of years and, you're never gonna believe this, declaring it's superior in just about all ways. Funny thing is, Nick Illingsworth knew him from the DE and pointed out he lived 25 miles away in Fordingbridge. And we gave him employment, the ungrateful cunt.
  6. Little bit of Bochum fan input... https://vfl4u.de/wbb4/index.php?thread/63109-der-armel-bella-kotchap-thread/&pageNo=16 right-click/translate to English
  7. And that's why they rarely get it right in many fans eyes...I think it's 'orrible!
  8. When I was a nipper it was always "17 miles down the A27" - I guess that's inflation for ya!
  9. Yep, crazy, the ref even had the chance close-up at the monitor to see Kane offside...still, I'll take it.
  10. If they beat the sweaties tomorrow night then every club in England (scousers excluded) should adopt a yellow and blue away strip next season in appreciation
  11. Think you’re right, St Mary’s is a far better venue with city centre parking and 2 train stations within a 20 min walk.
  12. Rod Stewart another (good reason to get out of the city that night). The Stones top it for me, great night, but I am an old cu..........
  13. I wonder how Horatio's dad explained that shirt....?
  14. As said, clearly mock-ups, but two nice shirts imo.
  15. But...tbf...there does look like there's a bottle of hand sanitiser on the table. Call off the witch-hunt.
  16. I can see this going down well with the Jocks and Taffs (and scouse) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-61562773
  17. Well, if they do acquire Levski Sofia then the first thing they need to do is change the name of the club https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PFC_Levski_Sofia
  18. Agree with you. Danny Baker mostly gets on my tits, but he was well suited to the phone-in on 'Talk Radio' as it was back then. The quality of caller and topic was a better listen, with a few tunes bunged in along the way, no surprise but there was a lot of Millwall and West Ham 'sorts' regularly calling in. It did seem very London-centric but it made for an interesting couple of hours on a drive back from somewhere. Tom Watt eventually took over and he was pretty good too imo. I mostly knocked the phone-ins on the head soon after as they went rapidly downhill with all the dinlos calling up.
  19. Never a wrong time to give the "we're scouse, not English" goons a bit of stick. How many did we take up there, was it the full allocation? Anyone who travelled deserves nothing but praise after the last 3 months imo.
  20. I'd say, without doubt, a mixture of dinlos, 'paid' callers and also lots of mischievous 'erberts pretending to be from their rivals and acting the spoilt, dribbling mess to make others laugh at them. Man Utd fans used to do it all the time when City started climbing back up from the third division phoning in and claiming to be "citeh, we're massive". and acting like pricks.
  21. But it is Leicester.....
  22. I would be best qualified to answer that if I was on our scouting network who are highly-paid to find suitable candidates. I rest assured that, as has been stated, the club always have the next manager/player lined up to replace outgoings.
  23. Do you remember when the last game of the season was always a good day out despite whatever had gone on before? Respect to all those bothering to travel this weekend. It's gone badly stale, needs wholesale changes. Unlikely unfortunately.
  24. Some twat blindsided Billy Sharp during the pitch invasion

The siren has just been added on for effect, but doesn't take away the reality of what's happening and about to follow.
